Fue muy sencillo seleccionar una canción como "viajera del río" y así relacionarla directamente con la temática semanal de Open Mic. Este hermoso vals venezolano a penas lo escucho me trasmite una sensación de letargo musical. Tiene un contexto de letra muy triste y melancólico. Pues se dice que el compositor del tema muchas veces mencionó que el momento musa de inspiración de la mencionada canción vino a él cuando miraba una flor en el río Orinoco, desde el malecón de Ciudad Bolivar. Entonces a su mente llegó está bella melodía dedicaría a su desaparecida madre. A pesar de ser una historia triste, ésta canción tiene una intensa melodía que desde que la escuché por vez primera se convirtió en una de las canciones favoritas de mi vida. Es inevitable quedar en paz al escuchar esa melodía.

Then this beautiful melody dedicated to his late mother came to his mind. Despite being a sad story, this song has an intense melody that since I heard it for the first time became one of the favorite songs of my life.
