The shoes in the song symbolize the journey that each person undertakes throughout his or her life. They are silent witnesses of the steps we take, the experiences we live and the emotions we feel. By saying that "my shoes know," Pablo López wants to convey that these inanimate objects have knowledge of the stories and feelings we have shared with someone special.

The song also expresses the idea that true love is not based on grand gestures or grandiloquent words, but in those simple, everyday moments we share with someone. It is the love that is found in the details, in the little things we do for each other.
