I lost a dear friend this week, Darren was will know and well respected amongst the community and music scene. Having pioneered much of his niech sector over the years.
To quote the sector who published a beautiful piece about his live "Without Darren, there wouldn't be a Blak Stage. He gave everything he had to improve his music and comedy career". Many are in their positions because of the work Darren had done over the decades.

We spent time together and even worked together and he provided me with support when I needed it the most. He'd been around to my house helping me learn piano and my kids would come to love his guitar.

Beyond his love for his children, his second love was that guitar or more so many guitars. Although if you found yourself without one, he would lend you his best.

We've lost a great human who will leave a giant hole in many people's hearts.

Today I am uploading this video where it will remain forever on the blockchain and I'll pop a few more up over time to honour his love so many more can hear his voice.
