Damiano, Tyla & Nile Rodgers Unite in Talk to Me [Eng/Esp]

Yesterday I got home late and a bit tired, so I just lay down, opened YouTube, and started looking for something to watch. That’s when a strange and surprising collaboration from just a few days ago caught my attention one I hadn’t heard about yet. It turned out to be a collab between Damiano David (the lead singer of Måneskin), Tyla, and the legendary musician Nile Rodgers.

El dÃa de ayer llegué tarde y un poco cansada a la casa, asà que simplemente me acosté y abrà youtube a ver que me podÃa poner a ver, pero, en eso, me llamó la atención una extraña y sorprendente colaboración de hace pocos dÃas que no habÃa escuchado. Esta se trata de una colaboración entre Damiano David (el vocalista de MÃ¥neskin), Tyla y el famoso músico y guitarrista Nile Rodgers.
Obviously, as soon as I saw those names together, I hit play and watched the video, jasjas. Honestly, I never imagined a collaboration between Damiano and Tyla, let alone Nile Rodgers working with either of them. Maybe with Damiano it made a bit more sense because of the genre he’s in, but even then, it was a big surprise.
Claramente al leer que esos eran las personas de esta canción, sin dudarlo me puse a escucharla y a ver el video jasjas. Porque realmente nuca imaginé una colaboración entre Damiano y Tyla. Y menos que Nile Rodgers colaborara con alguno de ellos. Tal vez un poco más probable con Damiano por el estilo de genero en el que se encuentran, pero aun asà me sorprendió bastante.
This song by the three of them is called Talk to Me, and it was released on September 12, 2025.
When I first played it, the intro didn’t really hook me much—it was more curiosity pushing me to see what they had created together. Damiano’s voice brings that rock ’n’ roll edge and an emotional pull to the track.
Tyla adds her soft, distinctive vocals, giving the song a contemporary R&B and pop vibe. Personally, I’m not too crazy about how her voice sounds here, but it doesn’t sound bad either. I just prefer the parts where both of them sing together.

Al ponerla, su inicio realmente no me atrapó lo suficiente, más allá de simplemente sentir mucha curiosidad por saber cual fue el trabajo que hicieron. La voz de Damiano aporta una tensión de rock 'n' roll y un sentimiento emotivo a la pista.
Tyla aporta sus suaves y distintivas vocales, lo que le da a la canción un toque de R&B contemporáneo y pop. Aunque personalmente no me gusta mucho su voz en la canción, pero suena suena muy bien. Aún asÃ, prefiero un poco más la parte donde ambos cantan juntos en la canción.
And then there’s Rodgers’ guitar such a standout element. His signature funk sound is all over the track, and near the end, he really takes over. Honestly, it feels like the guitar becomes a third voice in the song, LOL.
Y la guitarra de Rodgers es un elemento muy distintivo en la canción, aportando su caracterÃstico sonido funk. De hecho, tiene su parte de mucha más participación casi al final de la canción, donde pareciera que el sonido de la guitarra es la tercera voz de la canción jasjsaj
This collab really left an impression on me. I wasn’t expecting it at all, but I can’t deny how well it turned out and the incredible chemistry between them. It’s actually a great example of how artists from different genres and generations can come together to create something fresh.
Fue una canción que realmente me impactó, no esperé para nada esa colaboración, pero es inevitable no aceptar lo bien que salió el trabajo y la increÃble quÃmica entre estas personas. De hecho, podrÃa ser un ejemplo de cómo los artistas de diferentes géneros y generaciones pueden colaborar para crear un sonido refrescante.
