Coming back to my hometown again.

As usual last Friday I went back to my hometown again but this time with my husband and his friend with his family.
So I automatically became a tour guide to bring them around this island.🤭

Took the ferry back and this time the ferry wasn't as full as it normally will be.

Bought this grilled glutinous rice warped in leaves in Menumbok before we went into the ferry.
It's quite famous in Menumbok and it's a must to buy every time we drop by here.

It is filled with spicy prawn sambal that has the perfect sweet savoury taste to pair with the aromatic glutinous rice.Yummy!

Saw another ferry going in the opposite direction.

Welcome to the Duty Free Island where alcohol & chocolate is cheap here!🤭
Cigarette used to be cheap here too but not anymore since MCO started few years back.

Here are the liquor filling chocolates on the top two shelves!
But nowadays it's quite limited already because it sells out quite fast,even normal imported chocolates too.
Went to another duty free shop but non of the liquor chocolates was in stock.They are all sold out.🤭

After bringing everyone for shopping around and lunch then bringing them to check in their hotel then had a rest.
Then at night we went for dinner and wonder around to see what's the event that they are having nearby.

They're so many people joining this event that night.
It's like a night market too where there are stalls selling foods, clothes,bags, accessories ,toys, perfumes and some fun fair games too.
There's also performances and concerts happening on the stage.

It was quite interesting to roam around events like this as it has been a very long time I didn't go to places like this.🤭

To be honest I'm not really a fan of places that is packed with too many people around but once in a blue moon is okay for me.Hehe.
