My musical instruments....where are they?
Hello everyone!!! The theme proposed by Mipiano for this month, has made me go through hundreds of photos that I have saved for more than 10 years. I was in search of "my musical instruments collection", well...to be honest, it wasn't my collection, it was my daughter's 😉.
When she was little she had a saxophone, drums, accordion, flute, xylophone, philharmonica, tambourine, piano, maracas and claves. Except for these last two, the rest were toys, but they could be played and she could get some good sounds out of them 😆.
She played a great deal with her instruments, especially with the drums. She would walk around with her wooden drumsticks all over the house hitting anything and cymbals could be found in the least expected place 🥴.
Unfortunately after an arduous search I found almost no pictures. There is a capture of a joke we made to a friend we went to receive when he returned after a long period out of the country. What better way to welcome him than with a musical band? And off we went with tambourine, xylophone and piano 🤣.
In another picture you can see the accordion inside the toy box 😄.
Luckily I found this one from a concert we attended 🤭.
After that large collection was forgotten, at the age of 7 my daughter began to receive piano lessons. The lessons were at the home of a teacher we loved very much. An elderly lady who was a concert pianist for over 40 years. At that time we bought Olivia an electronic keyboard for her home practice. Nothing sophisticated, nothing professional, but it was enough. We had to wait to see if that would be her path and then decide to buy a piano. Luckily we didn't!!! His piano career only lasted 2 years 🤣.
At that time there was no Hive in our lives and therefore no habit of documenting everything...we haven't pictures of her playing the keyboard 😆.
It seems to me that I am making a post out of place. The initiative is about showing our "collection of musical instruments". So far I have shown toys that also were not even mine and to top it off, of the few real instruments we have had at home I don't even have a picture. Sorry Mipiano if I abuse the hospitality of this community 😇. But wait....at least there is something real to show you.
Last summer my daughter wanted to learn to play guitar. Now I quote @mipiano:
You know when you're a teenager and you think you can learn to play guitar in a few days and play chords on the beach in the evenings, around the fire and become a star?
Well that's exactly what happened!!! 😆😂
Only 2 months later she had given up and we were left with 2 bad guitars...of them if I have photo!!! 😎.
But as in this life nothing happens for pleasure, thanks to the guitar teacher @rikardonaranjo, we met Hive and we will be eternally grateful to him.
Despite the short time, Olivia learned a lot and her determination to make music .... with little effort 😉, has not ceased. Now she is trying to make digital music, learning how to use FL Studio 20. Now she has a collection of all the musical instruments!!!!
The images and text are my own. I used DeepL for the translation because Spanish is my native language.
Aw, look at that young pianist with the little red piano 😍
I had a similar one, red, but it was made of wood. I found it last summer in my parent's home (which was also my home some decades ago haha)
And what happened with the guitar, hahaha, like with my son 😂
Instruments from FL studio? That is also a cool collection of musical instruments, absolutely welcome to this initiative ;)
Thank you so much @mdrguez for your entry 😇
Mi pequeña pianista se veía tan adorable 🥰😀.
Your red wooden piano must have been beautiful, now unfortunately everything is plastic.
When I was little I had a wooden sewing machine, it was perfect, I sewed on chain stitch and on it I made little clothes for the dolls. Look what a coincidence....o would be a prediction 🤔.
The guitar thing...seems to be a teenage thing 😂.
We'll see how long the FL Studio adventure lasts 😬.
Gracias por la acogida. Feliz finde 🤗.
The little red piano - I found the post were I showed it :))
Nothing is a coincidence, it seems ;)
Gracias y feliz finde, igualmente 😇
Qué buen post!!! Gracias por mandarme el link.
Hey it sounds like you were a bit of a destructive child 🤣.
What beautiful memories. The piano despite being a bit deteriorated looks lovely. You must have had some great times with it as well as the accordion.
Those kinds of puzzles are usually quite complicated for children to put together, Olivia loves them.
That puzzle, I think I can't put it together now 😂
It is that for children this type of puzzles is difficult, you will see that when you grow up it will be very easy for you 😆🤣.
Luckily, my son didn't ask for drums... lol... But sometimes, the violin can be much more destructive for our neighbors than drums... 😃
And the thing with guitars and teenagers... I suppose that they are the main "client group" for guitar producers... 😂
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project! Check out our Reading Suggestions Posts!
Please consider voting for our Liotes HIVE Witness. Thank you!
The one here made noise for the fun of it. At least punishing your neighbors with the violin noise has been more than rewarded, listening to your son play now must be very gratifying
No doubt teenagers are a large percentage of the target audience for guitar makers 🤣.
Thanks for the selection and support. Best regards.
Genial, me encantó el post!!
Muchas gracias! Saludos.
I think any initiative is good, the fact is to participate is to honor @mipiano who is a musician. Excellent your initiative, my friend.
Happy weekend.🥰❤️😄
Hi Mamani, thanks for reading my post and leaving your comments. I had a lot of fun writing it, I searched for hours for the photos and in the end I almost didn't find them jiji. It was a nice challenge. Happy weekend. Un abrazo.
I will be at Nanixxx's house tomorrow.🥰
