OPEN DOORS!!!

Martes de muchísimas actividades!

Comenzamos el día con mi estimado Héctor Guerrero que es organizador regional de la global game jam!
Evento donde todos los años nos encerramos 48 horas para hacer videojuegos.

Después fuimos a una escuela a dar taller de stop motion y nos divertimos un montón con los resultados.

Para la tarde estuvimos en OPENDOORS evento organizado por la facultad de ingenierías para promover un espacio de información de la universidad donde los chicos prospectos concursan en 2 cosas.

1.- Concurso de puentes, con una prensa se presiona hasta que se rompan!
2.- Tiro parabólico, mediante sus cálculos matemáticos deben realizar los esfuerzos para que la bala alcance el objetivo mediante un simulador virtual.

Para terminar el día fuimos al cumpleaños de la tía Martha al otro lado de la ciudad!!

Tuesday was full of activities!

We started the day with my good friend Héctor Guerrero, who is the regional organizer of the Global Game Jam — an event where every year we lock ourselves in for 48 hours to make video games.

After that, we went to a school to give a stop motion workshop, and we had a blast with the results!

In the afternoon, we attended OpenDoors, an event organized by the School of Engineering to promote a space where prospective students can learn more about the university while competing in two challenges:

1. Bridge Contest – bridges are tested with a press until they break!

2. Projectile Motion Challenge – using their math skills, students must calculate the forces needed for the projectile to hit the target in a virtual simulator.

To wrap up the day, we went to Aunt Martha’s birthday on the other side of the city
