Top 3 picks from week #41
Hello Vibes community, it's been a long time away from here and I missed sharing my top entries from each week... although I get to see the amazing entries sometimes, I'm really amazed and glad by the growth and the in flow of talents weekly. In no particular order, my top 3 entries from the recently concluded week are by.
@rut.hernandez06, with her silky smooth vocals performs "Tomorrow" a classic by former English rock band "The Beatles". She got me from her very first note, she made the song hers and really played with it beautifully. Everything was crystal clear, she didn't need to do too much but then she gave a stellar performance. She has a great breath control and also good control vocally. Her tone is so beautiful as well, I could listen to her for days. I really love how she stayed on key all through her performance and eased through the minor notes smoothly, all the dynamics were well executed. She made the top 15 list but didn't make top 6, she's a winner in my books, y'all should keep an eye on her...check out her entry here 👇.
Next on my list is soulful singer @sleemfit, I'm super excited about this one 😊. He performed an original for his entry titled "Insecure", I don't know how he does it but he knows how to engage his audience, you'd be in your feelings listening to him. He made a really relatable song in Nigerian pidgin English and some parts in English but everyone irrespective of nationality can relate to. He talks about choosing those who want you as much you want them, and not those who just need you around for their selfish gain. Knowing the difference is really important and acting accordingly is key (protect your peace and mental health). He is a really good writer and I felt every emotion of this song, he performed with his guitar. The melody is on point and if Sleemfit has taught me something, it's the saying that "less is more", no too much riffs here and there...just beautiful, soulful singing. I'm really happy he got the 3rd position deservedly. Check out his entry here 👇.
Finally on my list is none other than @kemisolasings. When Kemi sings, you listen, she got me spell bound immediately she started singing. She performed one of my favourite songs "Rise up" by Andra Day. Her style of singing is really admirable and lovely. Her enunciations and the way she holds her note is so good, glad to see her on the top 15 list although she didn't make top 6 ( I was a bit surprised), it still doesn't change the fact that she's a really good singer 🫡. Y'all should always check her out, her entry 👇 .
