AFRI-TUNES WEEK 72| ONISE IYANU BY NATHANIEL BASSEY| COVER BY MARY BELLO
Lovely Hiveans and my amazing Afri-tuners. I have so missed this space. So for this week, I will be presenting a song that talks about the mercies of God Titled "Onise Iyanu" sung by my Father in Worship in the person of Nathaniel Bassey.
Long before now, I have always had a very comfortable life and I always thought things will keep being that way up until recently, I figured that I have lived the life I have always lived because of God's mercies. It was not like everything was all rosy and all, I did face trials and overcame through the mercies of God.
Recently, I felt like His mercies have left me, going through some rough moments and it just weighs me down, it feels like I am shouldering so much more than I can bear.
But God made it clear to me while studying my Bible and praying that He will not give me a burden that I cannot bear, and His mercies are new every morning.
He is the God of yesterday, today, and forevermore. He reminded me of all the things He has done, and His awesome wonders in my life, how He brought me back to life when the doctor declared me dead.
After being reminded of these things, I just cannot help to sing this song "ONISE IYANU" He is indeed merciful and surely His mercies are new every morning.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a mess and we just feel like God doesn't exist or he has forgotten us. Just like you said, he will never give us a burden we can't carry. I'm glad you relied on the word of God even in your trying times.
