"Flowers" is a powerful song in English about self-love and empowerment, which reminds us that we ourselves can be our best company, because we know and understand ourselves better than anyone else, and it is our duty to love ourselves, take care of ourselves, do all that we like, ensuring our well-being and happiness. It is truly a memorable song that we will surely continue to remember and sing throughout the years, regardless of whether or not we are going through a breakup.

This hit was released in January of this year and managed to stay at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list for 8 weeks. It should be noted that this song represented my return to Miley's music since "Wrecking Ball", which I still sing from time to time.

2) Vibe - Taeyang and Jimin Park

It is a song dedicated to confessing attraction and love with a great rhythm and style. It describes part of the passion and sensations that are experienced when you have a strong connection with another person. I really liked it from the first time I heard it. It has some parts in English and other parts in Korean, however the language is not an impediment to enjoying it, it is one of the songs that I have listened to the most this year.

In addition, the music video complements the song very well, it is quite dynamic and entertaining to look at, including Taeyang and Jimin's dances, accompanied by movements and changes of lights of different colors. It was truly an epic collaboration between two great South Korean artists: Taeyang (member of the band Big Bang) and Jimin (member of the band BTS). The song was released in January of this year, and I consider that it was a quite significant collaboration, because I know that Taeyang was a great source of inspiration for Jimin from the beginning of his career, in addition, with this song they both achieved their first entry into the Billboard hot100 as soloists.

3) Like crazy - Jimin Park

"Like crazy" is upbeat, fun and catchy. It matches so well with Jimin's sweet, striking and dynamic voice, I couldn't imagine anyone else singing this song. It tells us about the desire to enjoy happy and pleasant moments to the fullest, which we often wish had no end. The version that I share with you combines the languages ​​of English and Korean, however, there is also an incredible version completely in English, which allows us to sing it from beginning to end without any difficulty.

It should be noted that it was released in mid-March of this year and reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list, being the first song by a South Korean soloist to achieve this. It was truly epic news and a great joy for his country. Other of my favorite songs by this great artist are: "With you", "Serendipity" and "Set me free pt.2".

4) That's not how this works - Charlie Puth

The song is addressed to a person who ended a relationship suddenly, just leaving without saying anything and who some time later intends to return as if nothing had happened. Even though it's about conflict and frustration in a relationship, the song has a great rhythm, I liked the collaboration with Dan + Shay, and I really enjoy singing it over and over again.

It was released at the end of March of this year and I must confess that from the first fragments that Charlie shared on his social networks I was eagerly waiting to be able to listen to it in its entirety, so you can imagine how happy I felt when it was finally released. It should be noted that a couple of years ago I discovered Charlie's music thanks to a friend, and since then I have been a faithful follower of his work, I really like his voice and he is a very talented composer. Among his hits are the songs: "We don't talk anymore", "Attention", "Dangerously" and "Left and right".

5) In another life - Andrés Cepeda

It is a beautiful love song in Spanish that was released in May of this year. As usual with maestro Andrés Cepeda (Colombian singer-songwriter), the song is extremely sweet and romantic.

On this occasion, he narrates through it the possibility of a love that continues to exist even throughout future lives. The music video is also beautiful, showing emotional and unforgettable moments of a couple who remain in love throughout the years. Some of the songs that I love by Andrés Cepeda and I can recommend are: "Por el resto de mi vida", "El mensaje", "Te voy a amar" and "Magia", although the truth is, any of his songs are a true work of art that will be valued by all those who, like me, love romantic music.

6) Steal the show - Lauv

It is a song in English, which is part of the soundtrack of the Disney-Pixar film "Elements" and was released at the beginning of June of this year. Even though I haven't seen the movie yet, I know that it is about a love story between two very different beings who complement each other, and I feel that the lyrics of the song manage to convey the feelings experienced by the main character.

I heard this song by chance and decided to add it to some of my Spotify playlists. I feel that Lauv did a great job, his deep and soft voice transmits tranquility and is very pleasant to listen to, every time this song plays I enjoy it a lot, plus the melody gives a feeling of adventure that surely accompanies the animated film in a fabulous way.

7) Angel pt.2 - Jvke, Muni Long, Jimin Park and Charlie Puth

This song is one of the OSTs from the movie "Fast and Furious 10", it was released in June and is a collaboration between the South Korean singer Jimin Park, and the American singers Jvke, Muni Long and Charlie Puth. The lyrics of the song talk about pushing a person away to avoid hurting them, and encouraging them to look for someone else who will surely love them more and treat them much better.

I would like to say that Jvke and Muni Long were big surprises for me, I didn't know them but they are very talented, I will surely hear more from them in the future. As for Jimin and Charlie, I had already enjoyed their voices multiple times in the past, and it was very special for me to have the joy of hearing them together in the same song.

It should be noted that the "Angel pt.1" version was released first, and I loved it as well as the music video, it is really great and powerful, the rappers did a great job, and I loved the combination of Muni Long's and Jimin's wonderful voices. I like both versions very much and it was difficult for me to choose just one for this top, however, I chose "Angel pt.2", because it replaces the rap parts with Charlie Puth's singing, which allows me to sing it from beginning to end easily.

Finally, for those who like it, I can recommend listening to the song "Alejate de mí" by the Mexican group Camila. It is a song in Spanish released in 2010, but its meaning is very similar to that of "Angel pt.1" and "Angel pt.2", in fact, from the first time I heard them I remembered that epic song by the group Camila . The 3 songs have a powerful message, they convey too much and make me want to sing them at the top of my lungs.

8) What was I made for - Billie Eilish

This song is part of the OST of the live action Barbie movie, it was released in July of this year, and I think it is impressive how much Billie Eillish manages to convey in this song, because personally it moves me every time I listen to it and I can assure you that watching it together with the movie can easily make many people cry.

It is a beautiful song, which conveys melancholy, vulnerability, insecurities and personal questioning about who he really is and what his purpose is in this world. Billie has a privileged voice, and her hits include songs like "Bad guy", "Happier than ever" and "Lovely".

9) Eyes closed - Ed Sheeran

This song was also released in March of this year. It is full of melancholy and longing for that loved person who unfortunately is no longer by our side. Although Ed Sheeran dedicates it to a deceased friend, many of us can easily identify with the lyrics of the song and express through it the emptiness that the loss of any loved one leaves us.

Although it has not been one of the songs that I have listened to the most on this list, I do manage to connect with her feelings and delight in her voice every time I listen to it. Ed Sheeran is a great singer-songwriter, and among my favorite songs of his I can mention "Perfect", "Thinking out Loud", "Bad habits" and "Shape of you".

10) Better than yesterday - Diego Torres

This song by the Argentine singer is quite recent, as it was released at the beginning of September of this year, I came across it by chance, it made me smile too much and left me enchanted from the first time I heard it.

It is a song in Spanish, extremely happy, it transmits optimism, hope and the desire to move forward despite adversity. It reminded me of his hit song "Color Esperanza" and filled me with nostalgia and the desire to listen to it again after so many years. Both are one of those wonderful songs to enjoy first thing in the morning to start the day happy and active.
