Hello to the entire Hive Open Mic community, I am Mariflautacubana and as every week I come to participate in this wonderful musical scene, this time with a very beautiful and moving theme, "The Children", that is why I bring you a beautiful song, taken from the famous animated film "The Princess and the Frog".

What would this world be without children? Well, nothing. As our Cuban National Apostle said earlier, in them we place all hope for life, for humanity, for society, for our world; they are the future. We all go through childhood, and many of us remember it as the best stage of our lives, and that's how it should be for everyone. We learn, we get to know ourselves, we live life simply, without malice, without hatred, happy in our bubble. And also in that bubble, we discover another world, full of both fantasies and things as real as values, friendship, and love. I believe that's why cartoons were created, so that in that bubble children can fantasize about that mystical and fictional world, but at the same time, learn things that are truly important for life.

You've probably seen or read the story of The Princess and the Frog countless times, just like me. The princess must kiss the frog so he can turn into a prince, and they can marry and live happily ever after. I've loved this story since I was a child, but I must confess that when I saw the 2009 Disney movie, I completely fell in love with it, its protagonist, and the script itself. Tiana, a hardworking and ambitious girl, dreams of opening a great restaurant in New Orleans, but everything changes when Prince Naveen, transformed into a frog, finds her and asks her to kiss him, thinking she's a princess. When she kisses him, she turns into a frog, and that's how the whole plot begins—a very beautiful story. The music in this animated version is set in the style of New Orleans jazz. One of the most recognized and beautiful songs in history is the one I will perform for you, "I'll Make It," performed in the movie by Tiana, in a scene where she fantasizes about her future and luxurious restaurant, and at the same time the lyrics convey to us the perseverance, patience, optimism, positivity and all the effort of her to reach her goal, regardless of the criticism, and the difficulties.

This is something we must undoubtedly instill in children from a very young age. We must always show them the positive side of things, encourage them to be optimistic, to have patience in life, and teach them that everything requires effort and perseverance. Negative criticism and comments don't matter; they will always be there to hinder progress, but despite that, we must move forward, always with love and respect. Joy and positive thoughts should never be lacking in order to achieve our goals, so that in the future they will be able to live a full life and be good people.

Hola a toda la comunidad de Hive Open Mic, yo soy Mariflautacubana y como cada semana vengo a participar en esta maravillosa escena musical, esta vez con un tema muy bonito y conmovedor, "The Children", es por ello que les traigo una hermosa canción, extraída de la famosa película animada "La Princesa y el Sapo".

¿Que sería de este mundo sin niños? Pues nada, como en la frase de nuestro Apóstol Nacional Cubano citada anteriormente, en ellos depositamos toda esperanza de vida, de humanidad, de sociedad, de nuestro mundo, son el futuro.
Todos pasamos por la niñez, y muchos la recordamos como la mejor etapa de nuestras vidas, y es que así debe o debería ser para todos. Aprendemos, nos conocemos, vivimos la vida sencillamente sin maldad, sin odio, felices en nuestra burbuja. Y también en esa burbuja, conocemos otro mundo, lleno tanto de fantasías como de cosas tan reales como los valores, la amistad y el amor. Creo que para ello se crearon los dibujos animados, para que en esa burbuja los niños fantaseen con ese mundo místico y fictiseo, pero a la vez enseñándoles cosas verdaderamente muy importantes para la vida.

Seguramente ya han visto o han leído muchísimas veces como yo, la historia de La Princesa y el Sapo, donde la princesa debe darle un beso al sapo para que se convierta en príncipe, y así casarse y vivir felices por siempre. Desde niña adoro esta historia, pero debo confesar que cuando vi la película de Disney de 2009, me enamoré totalmente de ella, de su protagonista, y del guión como tal. Tiana, una chica muy trabajadora y ambiciosa, sueña con abrir un gran restaurante en Nueva Orleans, pero todo gira cuando el príncipe Naveen transformado en sapo la encuentra y le pide que lo bese, pensando q ella es una princesa, esta al besarlo se convirtió en rana, y así comienza toda la trama, una historia muy bonita.
La música de esta edición animada, está ambientada en el jazz de Nueva Orleans. Una de las canciones más reconocidas y hermosas de la historia es la que les interpretaré, "Llegaré", interpretada en la película por Tiana, en una escena donde ella fantasea con su futuro y lujoso restaurante, y a la vez la letra nos va transmitiendo la perseverancia, la paciencia, el optimismo, la positividad y todo el esfuerzo de ella para llegar a su objetivo, sin importar las críticas, y las dificultades.

Esto es algo que sin dudas debemos inculcarles a los niños desde muy temprana edad, debemos mostrarles siempre el lado positivo de las cosas, a ser optimistas, a tener paciencia en la vida, y enseñarles que todo en esta requiere esfuerzo y perseverancia, que no importan las malas críticas, los comentarios negativos, eso siempre va a estar ahí para estorbar, pero a pesar de ello, debemos avanzar, siempre con amor y respeto, que no falten la alegría y los buenos pensamientos para alcanzar objetivos, y que en un futuro sean capaces de vivir una vida plena, y como personas de bien.
