Hello dear hivers, I'm María Karla, a Cuban singer and flutist, and I'm here to share a little about my world. I want to tell you that I'll soon be turning 22, and today I'm bringing you a different dynamic so you can get to know me a little better. I hope you like it.

"UNNECESSARY" FACTS ABOUT ME

1- BIRTHDAY: July 20th I was born in the early morning, almost on the 19th, weighed 7.5 lbs, and people say I looked like a monkey with all the hair.

2- HEIGHT: 1.51 m Many tell me I add an inch to make people think I'm taller, but really, what would be the point? If I wanted to get taller, I'd add 5 or 6 inches.

3- ZODIAC: Cancer♋️ It's the fourth sign of the zodiac, symbolizes family, and its symbol is the crab. It's the element of water. Cancers are very emotional, meaning we tend to exaggerate our emotions—too sad, too happy, or too in love—we're pure intensity.

4- TATTOOS: Yes, I have two.

A moon on the back of my neck, which represents my zodiac sign, which is ruled by the moon; and a lightning bolt on my middle finger. I got it tattooed with a friend, and it symbolizes our friendship.

5- FAVORITE COLORS: 🤎👶🏾💩. My favorite color is my skin color, which I couldn't exactly tell you its actual color, but it's like cinnamon, brown, tobacco, something like that. What I know is that I love it.

6- FAVORITE FOOD: Pizza No, I'm not ordinary, since everyone likes pizza. I eat absolutely everything, and it's hard for me to choose a favorite food. But pizza is definitely one of those foods I could eat anytime, anywhere, and often, even if it's terrible, I'll eat it.

7- FAVORITE SPORT: Gymnastics. A frustrated dream, like dance, since I can't practice them due to physical problems, but through yoga, I try every day to get a little closer to them.

8- FAVORITE SUBJECT: History. I love studying the lives of those kings, queens, and other personalities whose stories have transcended our days. I identify a lot with Princess Diana of England, since besides being a Cancer like me, she lived and felt every moment of her life, despite her own mind and the gossip that destroyed her.

9- FAVORITE SINGER: Rihanna I listen to almost all types of music, since I'm a musician and therefore have had to greatly expand my hearing range, but Rihanna is an artist who first arrived in my childhood, and her songs have remained etched in my mind forever. She's also a fashion icon, something I also really like, and in each of her songs she non-literally recounts what she's experienced.

At 22, I feel like I still have so much more to live. I've often felt inadequate, guilty, afraid, without dreams, without goals, but I believe what I've experienced so far is enough to tell myself that "I can do it," that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, and to realize that we have to live every day as if it were our last, no matter the obstacles, live. Hola queridos hivers, soy María Karla, cantante y flautista cubana🇨🇺, y estoy aquí para compartirles un poco sobre mi mundo. Quiero decirles que pronto cumpliré 22 años, y hoy les traigo una dinámica diferente para que me conozcan un poquito más. Espero les guste.

DATOS "INNECESARIOS" SOBRE MI

1- CUMPLEAÑOS: 20 de julio
Nací en la madrugada, por poco el 19, pesé 7.5 lb, y cuentan que parecía un monito de tanto pelo.

2- ALTURA: 1.51m
Muchos me dicen que le agrego un centímetro para que piensen que soy más alta, pero realmente que sentido tendría, si quisiera ponerme más grande agregaría 5 o 6 centímetros más.

3- ZODIACO: Cáncer♋️
Es el cuarto signo del zodiaco, simboliza la familia, y su símbolo es el cangrejo. Elemento agua. Los cáncer somos muy emocionales, o sea, tendemos a exagerar nuestras emociones, demasiado tristes, demasiado alegres, o demasiado enamorados, somos intensidad pura.

4- TATUAJES: sí, tengo 2
Una luna en la nuca, que significa mi signo sodiacal, que está regido por la luna; y un rayo en el dedo del medio, me lo tatué junto con una amiga y simboliza nuestra amistad.

5- COLORES FAVORITOS:
Mi color favorito es el de mi piel, que a ciencia exacta no sabría decirles el color real, pero es como canela, marroncito, tabaco, algo así, lo que sé es que me encanta.

6- COMIDA FAVORITA: Pizza
No, no soy ordinaria, pues a todo el mundo le gusta la pizza, yo como absolutamente de todo, y me es difícil escoger una comida favorita, pero la pizza sin dudas es una de esas comida que podría comer a cualquier hora, en cualquier cualquier lugar y muchas veces, así esté malísima, me la como.

7- DEPORTE FAVORITO: Gimnasia.
Un sueño frustrado, al igual que la danza, ya que por problemas físicos no puedo practicarlos, pero desde el yoga trato cada día de acercarme un poquito a ellos.

8- MATERIA FAVORITA: Historia.
Me encanta estudiar la vida de aquellos reyes, reinas y otras personalidades cuyas historias trascendieron hasta nuestros días. Me identifico mucho con la Princesa Diana de Inglaterra, ya que además de ser Cáncer como yo, vivió y sintió cada momento de su vida, a pesar de su propia mente y de las malas lenguas que la destrozaban.

9- CANTANTE FAVORITA: Rihanna
Escucho casi todo tipo de música, ya que soy músico y por ende he tenido que ampliar mucho mi rango auditivo, pero Rihanna es una artista que llegó por primera vez en mi niñez, y se quedaron sus canciones impregnadas en mi mente para siempre, también es un ícono de la moda, algo que también me gusta mucho, y en cada una de sus canciones cuenta no literalmente lo que ha vivido.

A mis 22 años, siento que todavía me falta muchísimo por vivir. Muchas veces me he sentido insuficiente, culpable, con miedo, sin sueños, sin metas, pero creo que lo que he vivido hasta ahora me basta para decirme a mi misma que "yo sí puedo", que puedo alcanzar todo lo que me proponga, y para darme cuenta que tenemos que vivir cada día como si fuera el último, no importan los obstáculos, vive.
