Vortex 2025 - New original music track

I'm very happy that this is my first post of the year, its crazy how fast the time passes. Today I was feeling really excited to make music because I feel like last year was amazing but I focused on learning music theory and also a lot of practice, and feel like that was the basis for my new projects, but now its different I feel its time to put everything in practice.

So, I'm very excited for this new era, I will make more music than ever because I'm far beyond driven this year, I'm morr than that I'm motivated!

Today's music is inspired by the new wave of electronic music that Im hearing influenced by old jumpstyle genre, but with a twist of ph0nk, but mixed with all sorts of styles in between specially the good old style techno.
The thing that this genres have in common is the distortion of bass kick, the bass drum is the instrument that marks the beat and in electronic music is basically one of the most important sounds.
I was inspired by time travel but gone wrong, like going into a black hole but messing around somewhere in the way, and turning into something caothic. I was inspired by everything that is going on on the world and how everything looks sometimes chaotic, like we are living in a constant shifting time line. That's the main inspiration.

To make a nice distorted bass drum I used an effect called Fruity Fast Dist on the mixer, I used the preset settings on this one.

For the melody I used a Plugin called "Harmor", and I choose the sound called "Piano#2", I used the C -Scale for this melody and these are the notes:

The bpm I used is 130 and its all on the same tempo, except for the intro where I used a plugin called "3X OSC" a beautiful sound that I recently found on the Digital Audio Workstation, its funny how after so many years I keep finding more beautiful sounds.

Another sound I used thats new for me is the "Boo bass" I used the C5 note on it because the melody is in that bass note, so it makes sense to use it.

I made 2 parts on this track one of the parts I used a sound thats one of my favorites because its mystical, its called Chorus with high notes and the other part I used the Boo Bass sound and also I made the variations using the Gross beat with the preset of Trance gt2 and messing around with the basic ones.

I recorded the jam session when I finished putting all the sounds in place.

For the artwork I used a photograph and I put various filters, I use filters and different apps to make abstract digital art and it feels like the apps are like a canvas and any photograph is like paint, because I turn the msot random things into total different looking forms and shapes, that doesnt resemble anything like the original. So in this case it was the reflection of street lights in the pavement. But with at least 4 filters I made it look like a portal, thats why Im using it on this time travel themed track.
