In the story of our lives, there are special moments woven together by the gentle pawprints of our beloved animal friends. For me, one of those moments belongs to Moes, a tabby cat who became a part of my life when I was just four years old. Moes wasn't just a pet; he was like a family member, bringing joy and warmth into our home.

As the years passed, Moes stayed with us through thick and thin, spanning two continents and leaving a lasting impact on our hearts. We shared 21 years of laughter, comfort, and unspoken connections. Losing Moes at the age of 21 created a deep emptiness that couldn't be filled.

This open mic challenge is my tribute to Moes, and the song "When She Loved Me" perfectly captures the emotions I feel. The song speaks about memories, the enduring power of love, and how life goes on. Even though time moves forward, the love we share with our animal friends stays with us, leaving a lasting imprint on our hearts.
