Hello, warm greetings and infinite blessings to everyone; especially to musicians, composers, and poets, as today is the day of Saint Cecilia, your patron saint.
Every November 22nd, the Catholic Church commemorates the feast of Saint Cecilia of Rome, better known in the Spanish-speaking world as Santa Cecilia. She is the patron saint of those who make musical composition, singing, the playing of instruments, and poetry a lifestyle that brings joy to the rest of us mortals.
Brief Historical Review Her biography notes that her father forced her to marry a non-believer—a pagan—who, through Cecilia’s influence, would later convert to Christianity. This date, November 22nd, serves to venerate her as a saint, virgin, and martyr. Furthermore, she is known worldwide as the patroness of musicians, as there is evidence suggesting she loved music and knew how to play a musical instrument, possibly the lyre, the harp, or the zither. Saint Cecilia is also the patroness of poets. She is buried in the Basilica that bears her name in Trastevere, Rome, Italy.
Important Note 🎵: It is presumed that this noble woman was born in Rome, Italy, in 200 AD and was martyred possibly in the year 230 AD. In 1594, she was canonized by Pope Gregory XIII. The date of her martyrdom was chosen to recognize her strength and fortitude in defending her love for and devotion to God, to whom she consecrated her virginity and her Christian life.

Hola, saludos y bendiciones infinitas para todos; especialmente para los músicos, compositores y poetas por ser el día de Santa Cecilia, su patrona.
Cada 22 de noviembre, la Iglesia Católica conmemora la festividad de Saint Cecilia of Rome, mejor conocida en el mundo hispanoparlante como Santa Cecilia, patrona de los que hacen de la composición musical, el canto, la ejecución de instrumentos musicales y la poesía un estilo de vida que alegra a el resto de los mortales, como yo.
Breve reseña histórica
En su biografía se reseña que su padre la había obligado a casarse con un hombre no creyente, un pagano, el cual y por influencia de Cecilia, su esposa, también se convertiría más tarde al cristianismo. Esta fecha, 22 de noviembre, también sirve para venerarla como santa, virgen y mártir; además se le conoce en el mundo entero como la patrona de los músicos ya que existen pruebas que dicen que le encantaba la música, sabía ejecutar algún instrumento musical, posiblemente la lira, el arpa o la cítara. Santa Cecilia también es la patrona de los poetas. Está enterrada en la Basílica que lleva su nombre en Trastevere, Roma, Italia.
Nota 🎵 importante: Se presume que esta noble mujer nació en Roma, Italia en el año 200 dC y falleció martirizada posiblemente en el año 230. En 1594 dC fue canonizada por el Papa Gregorio XIII. La fecha de su martirio fue tomada para reconocer en ella su fortaleza y templanza a la hora de defender su amor y entrega a Dios, a quien consagró su virginidad y su vida cristiana.
