Ayer fue un día muy especial para una persona muy especial.

Yesterday was special day for a very special person.

Desde siempre, mi abuela ha sido fan de una cantante venezolana llamada Rosa Virginia Chacín, "la voz más dulce de Venezuela", y todo el tiempo la casa se impregnaba con sus hermosas canciones y su melodiosa voz. Así que con el pasar del tiempo, todos nos volvimos fans de la gran Rosa Virginia.

My grandmother has always been a fan of Venezuelan singer Rosa Virginia Chacin, "the sweetest voice in Venezuela", and all the time the house was impregnated with her beautiful songs and her melodious voice. So as time went by, we all became fans of the great Rosa Virginia.

Hace días, se publicó un video de la cantante invitando a un concierto acá en Caracas, y mi mamá se volvió loca de la emoción. Mi mamá compartió la publicación de Instagram con nuestros primos (que también se volvieron fans de Rosa Virginia gracias a mi abuela) y ellos corrieron la voz.

Sorpresivamente, una persona muy especial que prefiere no ser identificada, vio la invitación y tuvo el hermoso gesto de regalarle dos entradas a mi mamá y a mi tía. Fue así como ayer mi mamá y mi tía Maryflor pudieron ir a ver a su ídolo en vivo (mi papá se quedó a cuidarme).

A few days ago, a video of the singer inviting to a concert here in Caracas was podted, and my mom went crazy with excitement. My mom shared the Instagram post with our cousins (who also became Rosa Virginia fans thanks to my grandmother) and they spread the word.

Surprisingly, a very special person who prefers not to be identified, saw the invitation and had the beautiful gesture of giving my mom two tickets. That's how yesterday my mom and my aunt Maryflor were able to go see their idol live (my dad stayed to take care of me).

Cantaron todas sus canciones, lloraron, y en ocasiones hasta ayudaron a la artista con las letras, ya que se les olvidaban (no es para menos; son 84 años).

They sang all her songs, cried, and even helped the artist with the lyrics, since she forgot parte of them (no wonder; she is 84 years old).

Me hicieron video llamada, así que pude ver un poco del concierto. También llamaron a mi abuela. Mi abuela estaba tan conmovida y sorprendida que lloró como una niña.

They video called me, so I got to see a little bit of the concert. They also called my grandmother. My grandmother was so moved and surprised that she cried like a little girl.

Me alegra mucho que hayan podido disfrutar de ese hermoso momento y de que mi mamá se tomara un respiro de este yacasinocancer XD.

I'm so glad they were able to enjoy that beautiful moment and that my mom took a break from this almost-gone-cancer XD.

Aunque lamentablemente, fue un respiro corto, ya que al llegar, después de una buena siesta, me desperté con un poco de temperatura. La causa: una mucositis que estoy presentando por la quimio.

Contactamos a las doctoras y me mandaron antibióticos y otro medicamento. Gracias a dios ya me siento mejor.

Unfortunately, though, it was a short respite, because when she arrived, after a good nap, I woke up with a slight temperature. The cause: a mucositis I got from the chemo.

We contacted the doctors and they prescribed antibiotics and other medication. My Mom ordered it inmediately and indtarted taking them last night. Thank God I feel better now.
