50 años de El Sistema | The National System of Choirs and Orchestras' 50th Anniversary

Hola, Queridos Hivers!

Ayer, además de tener una jornada de grabación, tuve una salida muy divertida!

Esta semana se ha estado celebrando el aniversario número 50 de El Sistema, el sistema nacional de orquestas y coros juveniles e infantiles de Venezuela, con numerosos foros, expos, stands, presentaciones de las agrupaciones pertenecientes a El Sistema, etc. en el teatro Teresa Carreño.

Como perteneciente a El Sistema desde hace unos 15 años, y actual estudiante del Conservatorio de Música Simón Bolívar, sentí la necesidad de ir a disfrutar de ese alrededor lleno de música, sueños y celebración.

La principal razón por la que fui fue para asistir al foro de Luthería, que me llamaba mucho la atención, sin embargo, hubo un pequeño cambio de planes... en cuanto llegamos nos atrapó un excelente concierto que llevaba a cabo la orquesta juvenil de Chacao.

En cuanto terminó, dimos una vuelta por los stands, tomamos fotos, y al revisar el cronograma, me di cuenta de que un grupo que admiro mucho, Venezuelan Sound System, iba a presentarse!!! Vi de cerca a 2 de los vocalistas, y me tomé una fotito con una de ellas en el fondo!!!!!

Cuando por fin llegó la hora de su presentación, todo se llenó de gente. Afortunadamente, conseguimos un lugar en el que me podía sentar y ver todo de maravilla!

De verdad que fue un concierto espectacular!!! Los admiro a cada uno de los integrantes demasiado! Tienen mucho nivel y mucho talento 🤩
Además, cantaron mis canciones favoritas! Primera vez que voy a un concierto de ese tipo.

Ya iba oscureciendo, así que mi mamá y yo pedimos un taxi, y llegamos a casa sanas, salvas, y emocianadas!

Hello, Dear Hivers!

Yesterday, besides having a video recording day, I had a very fun outing!

This week we have been celebrating the 50th anniversary of El Sistema, the national system of youth and children's orchestras and choirs of Venezuela, with numerous forums, expos, stands, presentations of the groups belonging to El Sistema, etc. at the Teresa Carreño Theater.

As a member of El Sistema for about 15 years, and currently a student at the Simón Bolívar Conservatory of Music, I felt the need to go and enjoy that environment full of music, dreams and celebration.

The main reason I went was to attend the Lutheria forum, which caught my attention a lot. However, there was a small change of plans... as soon as we arrived we were caught by an excellent concert given by the Chacao Youth Orchestra.

As soon as it was over, we walked around the stands, took pictures, and when I checked the schedule, I realized that a group I really admire, Venezuelan Sound System, was going to perform!!! I saw 2 of the vocalists up close, and I took a picture with one of them in the background!

When it was finally time for their performance, everything was packed with people. Fortunately, we got a place where I could sit and have a great view!

It was truly a spectacular concert!!! I admire each member so much! They are talented pros 🤩
Besides, they sang my favorite songs! First time I've been to a concert like that.

It was already getting dark, so my mom and I asked for a taxi, and we arrived home safe, sound, and excited!
