No podía terminar el año sin hablar de música, y gracias a la bonita @gabsartbook puedo hablar de la música que me acompañó durante todo el año 2023. Escuché mucha música a diario así que porqué no compartirla por acá❣️

I couldn't end the year without talking about music, and thanks to the lovely @gabsartbook I can talk about the music that accompanied me throughout 2023. I listened to a lot of music every day so why not share it here❣️

Empiezo fuerte porque definitivamente fue Watch The World Burn de Falling in Reverse. Una completa rapsodia moderna, mezcla rap, trap, metal y simplemente es épica. Esta se ha convertido en una de mis canciones favoritas que dudo mucho que me vaya a aburrir de escuchar. Es maravillosa.
I'm starting strong because it was definitely Watch The World Burn by Falling in Reverse. A complete modern rhapsody, it mixes rap, trap, metal and it is simply epic. This has become one of my favorite songs that I highly doubt I'll get bored of listening to. It's marvelous.
Creo que al igual que el año anterior, la voz de Damiano David de Måneskin es tan expresiva que honestamente es un placer escucharlo. De alguna forma que considero increíble, logra transmitir claramente las emociones de la letra de una canción con su voz. A veces no necesitas saber de qué está hablando para entender lo que transmite, al menos el sentimiento. Si no lo has escuchado cantar, corre a buscar cualquiera de sus canciones y te garantizo que te va a gustar.
I think like the previous year, the voice of Damiano David of Måneskin is so expressive that it is honestly a pleasure to listen to. In some way that I consider incredible, he manages to clearly convey the emotions of the lyrics of a song with his voice. Sometimes you don't need to know what he is talking about to understand what he wants to transmit, at least the feeling. If you have not heard him singing, run to look for any of his songs and I guarantee that you will like it.
Se me hace un poco difícil decidir porque hubo dos bandas que escuché demasiado este año, pero ya que mencioné en parte a una en mi primera elección, en esta ocasión mencionaré a Bad Omens. Con su estilo de rock/metal alternativo me parece que hacen una música increíble. En lo personal me parece un metal bastante suave (aunque para algunas personas puede que no lo sea jajaja), y muchas veces necesito algo que esté en el medio de mis gustos musicales. Ni muy fuerte, ni muy suave pero alternativo.
It is a bit difficult for me to decide because there were two bands that I listened way too much this year, but since I partially mentioned one in my first choice, this time I will mention Bad Omens . With their alternative rock/metal style I think they make incredible music. Personally it seems to me a rather soft metal (although for some people it may not be hahaha), and many times I need something that is in the middle of my musical tastes. Not very strong, not very soft but alternative.
Tengo que mencionar nuevamente a Måneskin, y la canción que más escuché de ellos es Mark Chapman cantada en italiano (idioma principal de la banda). Desde la primera vez que la escuché me encantó completamente y no, no tenía ni la menor idea de qué decía la letra😅. Sin embargo, muchas veces no es necesario saber qué dice una canción para poder saber que es buena además de disfrutarla, y esta siendo un rock bastante clásico transmite fuerza. Es una canción buenísima que me pone de buen humor
I have to mention Måneskin again, and the song I heard the most from them is Mark Chapman sung in Italian (the band's main language). From the first time I heard it I completely loved it and no, I had no idea what the lyrics were saying😅. However, many times it is not necessary to know what a song says to be able to know that it is good and enjoy it, and being a fairly classic rock it conveys strength. It's a great song that puts me in a good mood.
Como seguramente habrás notado ya por las respuestas anteriores, mi género favorito siempre será rock, metal y sus derivados. Desde muy pequeña es el tipo de música que más me mueve, el que más me transmite. Por eso el álbum que más me gustó este año fue Life Is but a Dream..., octavo álbum de una de mis bandas favoritas Avenged Sevenfold el cual fue publicado este mismo año. No quiero decir mucho en este momento puesto que éste álbum merece un post sólo hablando de él, pero en general es una especie de rock/metal progresivo rarísima pero increíblemente buena.
A nivel creativo es una maravilla puesto que cada canción te sorprende. Ninguna sigue la estructura que esperas así como el estilo suena y a la vez no suena al estilo usual de la banda. Para mí que se hayan atrevido a innovar dentro del género es genial, puesto que creo que siempre debe haber algo diferente con cierta evolución para mantener las cosas interesantes.

As you have probably already noticed from the previous answers, my favorite genre will always be rock, metal and their derivatives. Since I was very little it is the type of music that moves me the most, the one that transmits the most to me. That's why the album I liked the most this year was Life Is but a Dream..., the eighth album by one of my favorite bands Avenged Sevenfold which was published this same year. I don't want to say too much about it right now since this album deserves a post itself just talking about it, but overall it's a very rare but incredibly good kind of progressive rock/metal.
On a creative level it is wonderful since each song surprises you. None of them follow the structure you expect as the style sounds and at the same time it doesn't sound like the band's usual style. For me, the fact that they have dared to innovate within the genre is great, since I believe that there should always be something different with a certain evolution to keep things interesting.

Hablando de canciones que pueden transmitir muchísimo sin que necesariamente entiendas qué dicen, la banda de rock de Bélgica LemON me hizo llorar bastante con su canción Tu ("Aquí"). La primera vez que la escuché fue pura emoción. El piano y la melodía eran simplemente hermosas. Luego busqué la traducción de la letra (que está en polaco) y sí, es una canción que habla de un hogar roto, un amor roto... Es para llorar esa canción aunque no tengas el corazón roto. Es una lástima que esta banda sea muy poco conocida porque la verdad son buenísimos...
una y otra vez, ilumina lo que no queremos ver.
Speaking of songs that can convey a lot without you necessarily understanding what they're saying, the Belgian rock band LemON made me cry quite a bit with their song Tu ("Here"). The first time I heard it it was pure emotion. The piano and melody were just beautiful. Then I looked up the translation of the lyrics (which are in Polish) and yes, it is a song that talks about a broken home, a broken love... That song is something to cry about even if you don't have a broken heart. It's a shame that this band is very little known because to be honest, they are really good...
Podría escoger muchas canciones puesto que este año fue una montaña rusa de emociones intensas. Viví demasiadas cosas nuevas en poco tiempo, tuve emociones demasiado fuertes, tantas cosas por hacer, tantas cosas que aprendí sobre la marcha, tanto al mismo tiempo que a veces simplemente sentía que me faltaba el aire, que necesitaba parar a respirar bien.
Esa sensación me recordó a que en los momentos donde me agobiaba ponía la mágica, suave y encantadora música de Aurora porque tiene canciones que son como una caricia al oído. Exhale Inhale me ayudó mucho a calmarme y a darme un espacio de reflexión. Dentro de todo lo que ocurría era una pausa que simplemente me recordaba que las cosas debo tomármelas con calma, tengo que respirar.
Define mi año porque representa esa calma que necesitaba para poder volver a centrarme en mí misma y mis prioridades, era el recordatorio de literalmente inhalar y exhalar
I could choose many songs since this year was a roller coaster of intense emotions. I experienced too many new things in a short time, I had too strong emotions, so many things to do, so many things that I learned on the go, so much at the same time that sometimes I simply felt like I was out of breath, that I needed to stop and breathe well.
That feeling reminded me that in the moments when I was overwhelmed I would play the magical, soft and charming music of Aurora because she has songs that are like a caress to the ear. Exhale Inhale helped me a lot to calm down and give me space for reflection. Within everything that was happening listening to this song was a pause that simply reminded me that I must take things slowly, I have to breathe.
It defines my year because it represents that calm that I needed to be able to refocus on myself and my priorities, it was the reminder to literally inhale and exhale

Muchas gracias por unirte a mi iniciativa! Y me alegro ver que disfrutaras haciéndola, conozco algunos grupos que mencionas y tienes muchas razón con lo que dices de que las canciones se destacan por transmitir emociones, algunas de esas bandas tienen canciones muy buenas y de alguna manera logran perfectamente trasmitir lo que sienten en ellas.
Tus gustos musicales están increíbles y tenemos eso en común, les estaré echando un ojo a algunas de las canciones que no conozco que cuentas en tu post para conocer más. De nuevo, muchas gracias por unirte y contarnos toda la música que te acompañó en el 2023 y feliz año! ^^
