Hace unos días estaba pensando en que nuevo post hacer y como por arte de magia recordé un trend que hace unos años estaba muy de moda, sobretodo en YouTube. Los famosos tag eran una serie de preguntas sobre temas variados, música, vida personal, entre muchos otros. Recuerdo que los que más me gustaban eran los de música porque así encontraba nuevos artistas, por lo que quise responder a mi propio tag de las 20 canciones💕.
No sé a quién realmente darle crédito por hacer estas preguntas (solo Dios sabe quién inició este tag) pero dejaré por acá la referencia que utilicé para encontrar las preguntas.
A few days ago I was thinking about what new post to make and as if by magic I remembered a trend that a few years ago was very popular, especially on YouTube. The famous tag were a series of questions on various topics, such as music, personal life, among many others. I remember that the ones I liked the most were the music ones because that's how I found new artists, so I wanted to respond to my own 20 songs tag💕.
I don't really know who to credit for asking these questions (God only knows who started this tag) but I'll leave the reference I used here to find the questions.
No recuerdo si ya lo he mencionado antes, pero la canción que ganó mi corazón salió hace muy poco tiempo pero es tan increíblemente hermosa que enseguida destronó a la que solía ser mi favorita.
Coraline de Måneskin es de las cosas más hermosas que haya escuchado. La letra junto con toda la instrumental mueve emociones muy profundas en mí. Hasta cierto punto me pone triste pero creo que es justo una de las cosas que más me gustan
I don't remember if I've mentioned it before, but the song that won my heart came out very recently but it's so incredibly beautiful that it quickly dethroned what used to be my favorite.
Coraline by Måneskin is one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard. The lyrics along with all the instrumentals move very deep emotions in me. To some extent it makes me sad but I think that is one of the things I like the most.
Me gusta mucho la película del Titanic pero lo que no soporto es la canción y creo que no es porque la haya escuchado demasiado (que también), sino que genuinamente me parece aburrida. Celine Dion tiene una voz increíble, eso debo concedérselo, pero esta canción me parece demasiado lenta y repetitiva.
I really like the Titanic movie but what I can't stand is the theme song and I think it's not because I've listened to it too much (which is also true), but because I genuinely find it boring. Celine Dion has an incredible voice, I have to give her that, but this song seems too slow and repetitive to me.
Hay muchas canciones que me ponen triste, honestamente me encantan este tipo de canciones 😅. Creo que es por lo profundo de la emoción que transmiten, todos aquellos recuerdos que pueden remover por los sentimientos evocados por la voz, la instrumental, la letra o la combinación de todo.
En esta ocasión voy a escoger Take Me Somewhere Nice (Llévame a un lugar agradable) de Mogwai. Es lenta y hasta cierto punto repetitiva, pero la melodía junto a la voz suave, casi un susurro, hace que te quedes meditando en esa emoción de tristeza o melancolía. Es tristemente preciosa.
There are many songs that make me feel sad, I honestly love these types of songs 😅. I think it is because of the depth of the emotion they transmit, all those memories that can be stirred by the feelings evoked by the voice, the instrumental, the lyrics or the combination of everything.
This time I'm going to choose Take Me Somewhere Nice by Mogwai. It is slow and to a certain extent repetitive, but the melody along with the soft voice, almost a whispery, makes you meditate on that emotion of sadness or melancholy. It is sadly beautiful.
Muchas canciones me recuerdan a personas que quiero. Sin embargo, al leer la pregunta por algún motivo pensé en mi hermano, y no hay música que me recuerde más a él que las canciones de Skrillex, por lo que escogí la primera canción que escuché de él en un break comercial de Mtv por allá en 2010. Me gustó lo raro de los sonidos así que busqué en YouTube y se la enseñé a mí hermano. Desde ese entonces él es mega fan y yo sólo lo escucho cuando él lo hace 😂
Many songs remind me of people I love. However, when reading the question, for some reason I thought of my brother, and there is no music that reminds me more of him than Skrillex's songs, so I chose the first song I heard from him in a commercial break from MTV back in 2010. I liked the strangeness of the sounds so I looked it up on YouTube and showed it to my brother. Since then he has been a mega fan and I only listen to it when he does 😂
Una de las canciones que mejor me sube el ánimo siempre será Waiting For The End (Esperando el final) de Linkin Park. La letra me parece genial puesto que demuestra unos ideales estoicos que comparto personalmente. Aparte la energía que tiene junto con la melodía alegre hacen una combinación espectacular. Además el video musical es uno de los mejores que he visto.
Por otro lado me recuerda a la época cuando la escuché por primera vez, siendo una adolescente que comenzaba a encontrar su gusto musical y que no tenía mayores preocupaciones.
One of the songs that best cheers me up will always be Waiting For The End by Linkin Park. I think the lyrics are great since they demonstrate some stoic ideals that I personally share. Apart from the energy it has along with the happy melody, they make a spectacular combination. Plus the music video is one of the best I've ever seen.
On the other hand, it reminds me of the time when I heard it for the first time, as a teenager who was beginning to find her musical taste and had no major worries.
Durante mi adolescencia pasaba la mayor parte de mi tiempo con mi mejor amigo, con quien comparto ciertos gustos musicales. Eminem siempre me recuerda a él, y concretamente la canción Rap God (Dios del Rap) me recuerda a la tarde del día en que salió esta canción, donde ambos emocionados estábamos escuchando la canción, pensando en lo increíble que es éste artista que honestamente no tiene comparación. Eminem en verdad es el dios del rap.
During my adolescence I spent most of my time with my best friend, with whom I share certain musical tastes. Eminem always reminds me of him, and specifically the song Rap God reminds me on the afternoon of the day this song came out, when we both were so excited listening to the song, thinking about how incredible this artist is who honestly has no comparison. Eminem is really the god of rap.
Pues por lo general me aprendo las letras de todas las canciones que escucho, es algo que hago porque me gusta mucho cantarlas después. Pero si existe una banda de la cual me sé perfectamente la letra de todas sus canciones, obviamente es Evanescence, y sólo por mencionar una colocaré Imaginary porque es mi favorita de todas, con su aura mágica transmite ese encanto que sólo tiene esta banda.
Well, usually I learn the lyrics of all the songs I hear, it's something I do because I really like to sing them later. But if there is a band of which I know perfectly the lyrics of all their songs, obviously it is Evanescence , and just to mention one, I'll say Imaginary because it is my favorite of all, with its magical aura manages to transmits that charm that only this band has.
Lo gracioso de tener canciones que me hagan bailar es que yo no sé bailar, por lo que las bailo sola jajaja. Tengo varias que podría escoger, sin embargo, pondré una de Ariana Grande, Side To Side (de lado a lado). A ésta artista la escucho poco pero esas pocas canciones son bastante buenas.
The funny thing about having songs that make me dance is that I don't know how to dance, so I dance to them alone hahaha. I have several that I could choose, however, I will choose one by Ariana Grande, Side To Side. I rarely listen to this artist but those few songs are quite good.
Ninguna canción me hace dormir realmente. Disfruto tanto de escuchar música que incluso las más lentas siempre me dejan tan cautivada que no puedo dormirme. Aunque es cierto que mucha música puede relajarme bastante, así que en este caso no colocaré sólo una canción sino que será una banda sonora, concretamente la de las películas de Studio Ghibli. Dejaré una compilación de varias de las canciones, las cuales son todas preciosas.
No song really puts me to sleep. I enjoy listening to music so much that even the slowest ones always leave me so captivated that I can't fall asleep. Although it is true that a lot of music can relax me a lot, so in this case I will not just include a song but it will be a soundtrack, specifically that of the Studio Ghibli films. I will leave a compilation of several of the songs, which are all beautiful.

La música de Björk aunque es rara por su sonido la verdad es que me transmite mucho. Para mí tiene una magia increíble que solo ella consigue, esa artista que parece no tener ninguna otra influencia más que ella misma.
Bachelorette (Despedida de soltera) me parece una canción que habla de ser mujer pero en un sentido muy abstracto y por supuesto, también habla de unir tu vida a la de alguien más.
Björk's music, although it is strange because of its sound, the truth is that it conveys a lot to me. For me she has an incredible magic that only she achieves, that artist who seems to have no other influence than herself.
Bachelorette seems to me to be a song that talks about being a woman but in a very abstract way and of course, it also talks about uniting your life with someone else.

Lamentablemente nunca llegué a aprender a tocar ningún instrumento. Hubo un intento frustrado de aprender a tocar la guitarra pero lo poco que aprendí ya lo olvidé. No se me da bien jajaja. Pero en su momento podía tocar una pequeña parte de Stairway to Heaven (Escalera hacia el cielo) de Led Zeppelin
Unfortunately I never learned to play any instrument. There was a frustrated attempt to learn to play the guitar but I forgot the little I learned. I'm not good at it hahaha. But at the time I could play a small part of Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven
Tampoco sé cantar bien😅, pero ojalá tener una voz como la de Sia para poder cantar canciones como Elastic Heart (corazón elástico). Desde siempre me ha impresionado la voz de esta cantante

Canciones como Happy Now (Feliz ahora) de Zedd son las que tienen esa vibra relajada que sería la mejor para manejar en una tarde tranquila

La primera vez que escuché a Gorillaz fue su canción Clint Eastwood siendo apenas una niña de unos ocho años viendo Cartoon Network. En ese momento solían poner música en los cortes comerciales y ésta canción era de las que más me gustaba
The first time I heard Gorillaz was their song Clint Eastwood when I was just a little girl about eight years old watching Cartoon Network. At that time they used to play music during commercial breaks and this song was one of the ones I liked the most.
Como se notará me inclino más a escuchar metal/rock y derivados, pero realmente escucho de todo un poco. Aunque creo que el género que menos se espera que me guste es reguetón pero sí, me gusta😅. No demasiadas canciones y tampoco lo escucho frecuentemente, pero disfruto bastante canciones como Tití me preguntó de Bad Bunny porque me parece divertida.
As you can see, I'm more leaned to listen to metal/rock and derivatives, but I really listen to a little bit of everything. Although I think the genre I'm least expected to like is reggaeton, but yes, I like it😅. Not too many songs and I don't listen to it frequently either, but I quite enjoy songs like Tití me preguntó (Tití asked me) by Bad Bunny because I find it fun.
Probablemente es la primera vez que pienso en qué canción me gustaría así que me costó decidirme, pero estoy segura que sería algo súper romántico y hermoso, como Turning Page (Paso de página) de Sleeping At Last
This is probably the first time I've thought about what song I'd like, so I had a hard time deciding. But I'm sure it would be something super romantic and beautiful, like Turning Page from Sleeping At Last
Francamente no quiero que mi funeral sea una ocasión triste sino más bien algo conmemorativo de lo que fui en vida, como una especie de último festejo. Por eso me gustaría que tuviera música, toda aquella que disfruté durante mi día a día puesto que cada momento de mi vida lo asocio a la música que me gusta.
Entonces me gustaría que se pusieran muchas canciones, pero si debo elegir una sería Swimming Home (Nadando a casa) de Evanescence. La letra es nostálgica y hermosa.
Frankly, I don't want my funeral to be a sad occasion but rather something commemorative of who I was in life, as a kind of last celebration. That's why I would like it to have music, all the music that I enjoyed during my day to day life since I associate every moment of my life with the music that I like.
So I would like many songs to be played, but if I have to choose one it would be Swimming Home by Evanescence. The lyrics are nostalgic and beautiful.
