Chillax With the Sax And Guitar
Chillax With The Sax And Guitar.
Time for another music video and a bit of saxophone mixed with guitar keeping it very accoustic. I'm sharing this out there with you on a Thursday hoping you have a good week so far. To day is the day I call "Extra Mile Day" in the UK it's normally the day before payday and the weekend is n't quite here just yet but it's around the corner.
I actually heard this guitar riff playing in the back ground on a video that I seen a friend of mine do and as I normally do when I hear a tune that I like or a riff I like, I immediately go into saxophone improvisation in my head. Now my friend is a great poet and he is into what is known as "Spoken Word" and he has written a couple of books won a few awards and yes he will be coming onborad and I will be adding a bit of saxophone to a few of his tracks in the back ground. The only art work I am personally responsible for on the video really is the thumb nail and a few slides as it was my friend who asked if he could do a night time theme for the video so I alloweed him.
Well Today does actually mark the first week That I have been back in the hive community for 6 years. I thought it was 4 but after seeing my old account I realise time goes way much quicker than we realise. Because my biggest passion is music, naturally I have gravitated towards checking out which music artist and singers even producers resonate with me the most and i have started to book mark profiles that really stand out to me. If it is not book marked that does not mean I don't like it, but if our paths cross here and you see my journey you will know that I have a goal to have a duet with other talented musicians, and to create a community where we can Jam, improvise and help each other to add musical layers to personal projects as well as creating some community music projects. It is going to take a bit of a bit of patience and hard work setting things up but it's going to happen and I really have enjoyed listening to quite a lot of talent here over the last 7 days. Normal social media has almost been non existent for me and this is actually now pushing me to deliver fresh creations so this is pushing me into good habbits and now I have to plan what I would like to do in the future what kind of videos and how often. I am in the process which is what I will be doing after this video share of working out how to use OBS connected to my mobile for video whils using my audio interface with ableton so i can record with my mic effects and have visual at the same time whilst keeping the sound as balanced as good as possible. I'm not the greatest at this but it is another learning curve to get through but I'd like to share a few behind the scenes video, share a bit of life footage from my wedding gigs and parties and a bit of my life style.
If you are a guitarist watching this, drop me a guitar emoji in the comments. I have been gifted a nice semi acoustic guitar, and i can play about 6 chords and bit of finger picking but that is about it. The pain of those strings on your finger tips as a newbie is real so masive respect to all the passionate guitar players here that went through that. So yeah a few of you already know I been checking your playing out. I won't mention no names but I might do in a video coming up, but wow, I met a few drummers, one of them I was like dam, i need get flight to Germany cos this artist can produce and has multi talents and if you are familiar with a black bird called the ravern then some of you will know who I am on about, this wonman has serious talent and her timing and ear for music I can tell is immaculate.I seen a female singer from Venzuala drop a tune, again no name here but she got the Marilyn Monroe Vibe things going on with the red dress this last week and she should be on stage already. Met a couple of lead guitarists that got me listening to there tunes repeatedly and I'm like freakin cool, I want to jam with these guys and there is a bass player too and yes i do love drums I do think 4 limbs moving at different times is an ultra menatal talent but a good bass player can keep the rythmn too and give me some cool riffs to jam of.
I hope you have enjoyed my first week of entertainment. I have made new realtionships here already in the last week that have become more meaning ful than 100's of others i have met. I have always been drawn towards an alternative youtube and the team at 3speak continue to do an excellent job and work through the challenges and I know even more improvements are coming. The only thing that does kind of hit me is, as a community it would be great to see more proactive users sharing this around and attracting more people here. I said this in a "X" twitter post..
" I am not posting for likes, I am publishing, staking, earning, compounding. My content is an asset here not just a post"
I wonder how many of us here can actually see that and agree with me?
Any way I hope you enjoyed the stripped back acoustic guitar and saxophone. Enjoy the rest of the week and I will see you very sonn in my next video.
