Lately - Afro Melodic House and Sax 🎷

How are you doing saxy people, nice to see you again and if this is the first time you are visiting my channel, stay around and check out some of the other saxy music tunes that I am so excited to have shared. The greatest thing about been a musical artist is been able to change the vibration of a room, touch some one's heart, lift some one up. Sometimes music can make us cry because it can just hit places that words can't reach. For me music allows me to express my emotions and quite often it helps me to escape and hyper focus on a passion that seems to over take my mind when i put those ear phones on and here that deep rhythmic beats coming in and i am loving the groove and hear those melodic notes been sung and I am captured, it is like a freakin out of body experience and my soul is just floating in some kind of realm, dimension that seems to be just..... Light, a kind of energy that makes me feel peace. I am not even sure what notes i'm going to play, just lost and submerged which is where I was this Afro Beats remix.

So The origional producer of this song "Lately" is Rufus Du Sol and he is an awesome house and alternative electronic producer. I fell acrosss this "SYCR Music" producer from South Africa who remixed this version who is gaining traction globally through Afro house edits.

A non profit organisation Called "Kwanza Collective" from my home town Stoke-on-Trent in the UK Sponsored this video and recording at a studio called Sunny Studios. The guy that introduces me is my friend Danny Shaw who is very musically talented and an absoluetly incredible on the drums, the guy has skills next level and I am sure you will agree when I share future content. So we did this recording, in one take and I had only heard this song a couple of times and just went with the flow, although now I'd be like yeah I can play this even better, that is the thing with freestyle. When you rewind you hear things you wish you had played, but still that's not a bad thing.

The song is actaully about rediscovering love after emotional distance, or past hurt, but a renewed relationship is changing them how to open them up emotionally.

Now for the first time after been away from here for 6 years, I am pulling back the curtains and sharing some of my journey and sharing some of your journey. We are going to rock this hive and raise the vibe and create a light so powerful that other musicians artist and singers from all over the interverse are going to realise this is a freakin cool place to go and meet other artists.

What do you think would happen if we all took that extra small step and share your last creation and an invite to other artists to our world of dapps on post it on X twitter. You could say I am crazy but in my mind it's selfish not to. I have enjoyed listening to quie a few artists here, looking at the Afritunes, and I know I will come and say hello soon. I have already communicated with a couple of singers a few guitarists and Afro House Music is been hot with me over the last 3 years so 100% I am coming for a jam and few collaborations. I see a strong spanish music community and I so need to improve my spanish because its a very widely spoken language I think the third largest in the world but wow there is a certain spanish guitar sound that really gets me going and makes me think at some point i'm going have to take some salsa dancing lessons and pack my bags and leave the UK, I am sure my saxophone and salsa dancing skills would help me to make lots of friends.

It has been an interesting week and other social media has not hardley had any attention. I still have to learn how to edit and improve my blogging skills better and maybe pretty things up with a few graphics but that will come along with more music video's house, and all the kinds of house music, dance, R and B, Drum and Bass, Reggae, Gospel, Soul, Motown, Ibiza, and more. I am looking to do some collaboration recording right here too so if you have a tune, that you have written and you think we could create something together then giveme a shout. This week I will be uploading a video of a female singer and myself from a few years ago. I have seen an incredible female singer here who plays the violin too and I have seen a few of hers I would like to do a sax layer on and I am hoping that we can make that happen. It's the start of an idea I have for a community and in time, a few people may help me to get it going.
