Hive Open Mic Week #258 // My Body By Panam Cover By mamab
This is mamab on Hive Open Mic week #258. It's an honour to be here on this edition. How are you all pushing life? May God strengthen us all. I'm excited to bring to you my entry on the theme: under my skin 😊. I kept struggling throughout last week to make a post but the network challenges I faced drained my data and vigor. Well, I'm here today.
So I will be sharing a powerful old song from Dr Panam Percy Paul as a way of my interpretation of the theme. He is a father and music ministry coach, I had the privilege to enroll and also work in his school of music ministry few years ago. He released the song in his Glory 3 album and it's titled "My body".
It is a song of dedication of the body to the Lord. The Lord needs our bodies and not just our souls and spirit. But He can only use our bodies when they are dedicated to him and clean. The song writer says the Lord should purify him like gold. I believe it should be our prayer as believers so that God can find a dwelling place in us.
Lyrics
My body is your sanctuary
My body is your sanctuary
purify me like gold
so I might be bold to say
my body is your sanctuary
My body is your sanctuary
My body is your sanctuary
purify me like gold
so I might be bold to say
my body is your sanctuary
I give it to you my body
I give it to you my body
I give it to you my body
I give it to you my body
▶️ 3Speak
Our body is his sanctuary so we give it to him
