Greetings, my dear friends of Hive Open Mic! We come to a new week, the #172 of this wonderful musical space that brings us together around music. This time, the theme is "Family", chosen by our friend @edwardstobia.
I'm sure there must be many songs to honor what we have always been taught is the basis of society, the family, the place where we take our first steps and feel safe and protected. For this week and since I knew about the theme, a song came to my mind that we used to sing a lot in my parish, it is called The Spirit of God is in this Place, whose author is unknown but has been sung through the years.
I was inspired by this song for this week because I believe that it is fundamental for families to place their trust in a superior being, in a God of love who guides the steps of each of the members of the family. I hope you like my version.
¡Saludos, mis queridos amigos de Hive Open Mic! Llegamos a una nueva semana, la #172 de este maravilloso espacio musical que nos reúne en torno a la música. En esta ocasión, la temática es "Familia", elegida por nuestro amigo @edwardstobia.
Estoy segura que deben existir muchas canciones para honrar a lo que desde siempre nos enseñan es la base de la sociedad, la familia, el lugar donde damos nuestros primeros pasos y nos sentimos seguros y protegidos. Para esta semana y desde que supe sobre la temática, a mi mente vino una canción que solíamos cantar mucho en mi parroquia, se llama El Espíritu de Dios está en este Lugar, de la cual se desconoce su autor pero que ha sido cantada a través de los años.
Me inspiré en este tema para esta semana porque creo que es fundamental para las familias, depositar su confianza en un ser superior, en un Dios de amor que guie los pasos de cada uno de los miembros que la conforman. Espero que les guste mi versión.

Qué bonito es invocar al Espíritu Santo a nuestras vidas, contar con su auxilio es imprescindible pues nos da paz y consuelo todos los dias.
Cantaste muy bien amiga, Dios te siga bendiciendo.
Mejor dicho imposible y creo que eso es lo importante, contar con el auxilio de Dios dentro del núcleo familiar es sin duda de gran ayuda para poder superar juntos cualquier adversidad.

Esta cancion es muy hermosa, me recuerda cuando se la cantaban a mi abuela en cama cada domingo... De verdad que me trajo gratos recuerdos de mi infancia pero sobre todo tener presente que Dios siempre ha estado conmigo.
