Hive Open Mic Week 288 - Gospel | Me has seducido, Señor - Cover by @Maitt87
Happy Tuesday to all of you, dear Open Mic family! We gather once again in this little musical corner, and this time the theme that moves us is Gospel music, which I am sure will not only bring us great suggestions, but will also allow us to reflect on this week 288.
The song I chose for this occasion is “You Have Seduced Me, Lord,” a song I learned many years ago in church and which has held a very special place in my heart ever since. From the first time I heard it, I was deeply moved not only by its lyrics, but also by the sweetness of its melody.
This song conveys sincere devotion, that feeling of surrendering to the immense love of God, who calls each of us by name, even with our failures, doubts, and flaws. It reminds us that, despite our smallness, He always seeks us, sustains us, and invites us to walk beside Him.
Singing this song is, for me, a form of prayer. It is letting each word be an echo of gratitude and faith. I hope that when you listen to it, you can feel the same peace and tenderness that accompany me every time I perform it.

Me has seducido, Señor
¿Por qué me has llamado?
Has pasado por mi puerta y bien sabes
Que soy pobre y soy débil
¿Por qué te has fijado en mí?
Con tu mirada
Me has hablado al corazón
Y me has querido
Es imposible conocerte
Y no amarte
Me es imposible amarte
Y no seguirte
¡Me has seducido, Señor!
Me has hablado al corazón
Y me has querido
Es imposible conocerte
Y no amarte
Me es imposible amarte
Y no seguirte
¡Me has seducido, Señor!
You have seduced me, Lord
Why have you called me?
You passed by my door and you know well
That I am poor and weak
Why did you notice me?
With your gaze
You have spoken to my heart
And you have loved me
It is impossible to know you
And not love you
It is impossible for me to love you
And not follow you
You have seduced me, Lord!
Word; it is your voice that echoes within me
That speaks to me in silence
What do you want me to do for you?
With your gaze
You have spoken to my heart
And you have loved me
It is impossible to know you
And not love you
It is impossible for me to love you
And not follow you
You have seduced me, Lord!

This was one of my dad's favorites, and I had it very much in mind, because I told my mom that I wanted to record something in San Pedro Square, and she recommended this one to me. I just don't know haha... I always feel connected to you my friend, thank you for this beauty. This song represents me enormously at this moment 🙏🏽 You look great, so rock 😎
That's right, dear brother, we always end up agreeing on something. This is truly a beautiful topic, and I loved being able to bring it to the platform during this special week. By the way, enjoy your trip.
