Hello, dear community of Hive Open Mic! Once again I am happy to join this beautiful space of music and reflection that every week invites us to share from the soul.
When I saw that this week's theme was Holy Spirit, I didn't have to think long to decide which song I wanted to participate with. Today I bring you my version of "Ven, Espíritu Ven" by Marcos Barrientos, a song that saw the light of day in 2000, but that is still as current and full of meaning as the first day I heard it.
Over the years, this song has become a kind of sung prayer for many of us. Personally, every time I play it or listen to it, I feel it connects me in a very intimate way with that longing for spiritual renewal, for rest in the presence of the Holy Spirit. I hope you enjoy my version.
¡Hola, querida comunidad de Hive Open Mic! Una vez más me siento feliz de sumarme a este hermoso espacio de música y reflexión que cada semana nos invita a compartir desde el alma.
Cuando vi que la temática de esta semana era Espíritu Santo, no tuve que pensarlo mucho para decidir con qué canción quería participar. Hoy les traigo mi versión de "Ven, Espíritu Ven" de Marcos Barrientos, un tema que vio la luz en el año 2000, pero que sigue tan vigente y lleno de significado como el primer día que lo escuché.
A lo largo de los años, esta canción se ha convertido en una especie de oración cantada para muchos de nosotros. Personalmente, cada vez que la interpreto o la escucho, siento que me conecta de una forma muy íntima con ese anhelo de renovación espiritual, de descanso en la presencia del Espíritu Santo. Espero que disfruten mi versión.
