¿No words, just music? Weekend engagement - Week 146
¿No words, just music?
I immediately thought of the instrumental music I like to listen to the most, well actually I think it's the only one. I am moved by many rhythms, many artists, but the instrumental is not my forte. However, when I saw this weekend's proposal, I thought of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, and it is that seeing them, listening to them, enjoying them, is one of my great desires. This song in particular is the one that moves me the most, the one I like the most, the one I enjoy the most. I can recommend you to listen to all his works, for example the Mambo, but like this one I don't think there are any.
It is about "El Alma Llanera" is a Venezuelan joropo that was composed in the year 1914 and tells what life is like in our plains, life in the savannah and what it means for your people our country This piece of music has been covered by countless artists but my favorite in the whole world is the one he gave them today.
Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra - Alma Llanera
Every Venezuelan has heard this song since childhood, for me, it is like a hymn, it is part of our past and will always be part of the evolution of our generations. This piece of music makes my skin crawl but it seems more beautiful and valuable under the direction of our Maestro Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
Orchestra director Gustavo Dudamel is a pride for our country, he is the director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic until 2026 when he will become the Director of the New York Philharmonic. Their passion for music is evident in each presentation and in each musician that integrates the orchestra, for me they are a great example, that's why I enjoy watching and listening to them. And I don't deny it, I think that in another life I would have liked to be part of them but I never learned to play any instrument despite my attempts.

Definitely listening to the melody of the llanera soul is a balm for the soul, it is a single feeling, it reminds us and makes us proud of the fact that we are Venezuelans. I've never heard something like that live but it must be wonderful. Thanks for sharing friend 😊
If it makes me emotional to see them on video, imagine yourself live, to cry hahaha.
