Ahh, I'm really excited about this month's theme on Youhive because if there's one thing I love, it's movie soundtracks and themes. There are so many I love and so much I have to say about them that it wouldn't all fit in one post, so I'll have to keep this post as brief as possible, hehe. But I'm taking this opportunity to invite everyone who wants to participate in this month's theme from the wonderful @youhive community. I especially want to invite my dad @victor2356, my mom @carmen1659 (well, actually, she's the one who mentioned this theme to me last night 😄 while we were having dinner), my sister @bethyjade, my cousin @emperatriz1503, and my great friend @eugemaradona to join in with their contributions. ¡Ahh el tema del mes de Youhive me entusiasma bastante porque si algo amo yo son los soundtracks o temas de películas y la verdad es que son tantísimos los que me gustan y lo que tengo que decir sobre ellos que n cabrían en un solo post, así que me queda resumir este post lo más que se pueda, jeje, pero aprovecho la ocasión para invitar a todo aquel que quiera participar en el tema de este mes de la hermosa comunidad de @youhive, en especial quiero invitar a mi papá @victor2356, a mi mamá @carmen1659 (bueno aunque fue ella quien me comentó anoche sobre este tema 😄 mientras cenábamos) también a mi hermana @bethyjade, a mi prima @emperatriz1503 y a mi gran amiga @eugemaradona para que se unan con sus participaciones. Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now
This is the theme song from the movie Manikin, and my story with it is quite unique because, honestly, I must confess that I've never really seen the film properly. But a while ago, I worked as a seamstress in a sewing workshop, and sometimes I would play old songs in the background, from the eighties, even much earlier, because I've always loved old songs, especially the Beatles. Anyway, while the songs were playing, this track came on: "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by the band Starship, and the beat completely captivated me. I loved it; I loved the lyrics, the music, the message it conveys—everything. In fact, I sang it at one of my performances for Hive Open Mic 🤗. For me, it's a very powerful song that instills a lot of confidence; it's perfect for starting the day.
Este es el tema de la película Manikin, y mi historia con ella es muy particular porque honestamente debo confesarles que nunca he visto bien la película, pero hace tiempo yo trabajaba como costurera en un taller de costura, y a veces yo ponía de fondo canciones viejas, de los ochenta, incluso de mucho antes, porque siempre me han gustado las canciones viejas, en especial los Beatles, el caso es que mientras se reproducían las canciones apareció este tema: Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now de la banda Starship, y el bit me enamoró por completo, lo amé, me encantó la letra, la música, el mensaje que transmite, TODO, de hecho la canté en una de mis presentaciones para el Hive Open Mic 🤗. Para mi es una canción muy poderosa que e infunde muchísima confianza, es perfecta para iniciar el día.

It's the theme from Titanic. I was about 12 years old back in 1997, and I was head over heels in love with DiCaprio, haha 😄 He was one of my first crushes. I remember that at that time I was obsessed with everything related to the sinking of the ocean liner. I looked for information in the library and even wrote a review about the accident that no teacher at school asked me to write; I did it for myself because the movie had motivated me enough to look for more information. Listening to this melancholic melody in Celine Dion's beautiful voice mentally transported me to the scene of the tragedy, and sometimes I even teared up imagining the number of dead scattered in the sea because of the accident—1,700 people, to be exact.
Es el tema de Titanic, yo tenía unos 12 años por allá en 1997, estaba perdidamente enamorada de Di Caprio jaja 😄 fue uno de mis primeros crushes. Yo recuerdo que en esa época yo me había obsesionado con todo lo referente al hundimiento del transatlantico, buscaba información en la biblioteca y hasta hice una reseña sobre el accidente que no me pidió ningún profesor de la escuela, la hice para mi misma porque la película me había motivado lo suficiente como para buscar más información. Escuchar esta melodía melancólica en la preciosa voz de Celine Dion me trasladaba mentalmente al lugar de los hechos, y a veces hasta se me salían las lágrimas al imaginar la cantidad de muertos que habían regados en el mar a causa del accidente, de hecho 1700 personas, para ser exactos.

It's not from my generation, just like "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now," but I grew up listening to it because I always watched the movie "The NeverEnding Story" when it was on TV. Who didn't cry when Atreyu's horse sank? That's right, this song is perfect for the movie because those chords remind us of the magic and fantasy the film contains. When I was little, I would listen to it and get goosebumps (in a good way), and it still has the same effect on me. That's why I screamed with excitement when I heard it again in one of the final episodes of Stranger Things 😄
No es de mi generación al igual que Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now pero crecí escuchándolo porque siempre veía la película La Historia sin Fi cuando la pasaban por televisión ¿Quién no lloró con el hundimiento del caballo de Atreyu? Así es, esta canción es perfecta para la película porque esos acordes nos recuerdan la magia y la fantasía que contiene el film. Cuando yo era pequeña la escuchaba y se me ponía la piel de gallina (en el buen sentido) y todavía me genera el mismo efecto, por eso grité de emoción cuando volví a escucharla en uno de los episodios finales de Stranger Things 😄
Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You
Ahahhhh! is one of my favorite songs; it's the main theme from the movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, where, strangely enough, my crush wasn't the protagonist but the villain, the Sheriff of Nottingham, masterfully portrayed by the great Alan Rickman with his usual sex appeal and his knack for playing these kinds of characters. The song has a very subtle melody at the beginning that helps immerse us in the story and the romance between Lady Marianne and Robin, but the power it gains in the chorus and coda—wow!—perfectly defines the movie. I really enjoyed watching the video (which, by the way, I couldn't find). In that video, Bryan Addams was in Sherwood Forest itself, where the movie was filmed, or at least it seems that way. The song is undoubtedly wonderful; it relaxes me a lot to listen to, and I remember that I particularly liked listening to it at night to fall asleep; it was like a lullaby for me.
¡Ahahhhh! es una de mis canciones favoritas, es el tema principal de la película Robin Hood Príncipe de los Ladrones, donde extrañamente mi crusch no era el protagonista sino el villano, el Sheriff de Nothingham, interpretado magistralmente por el gran Alan Rickman con su acostumbrado Sex Appeal y su habilidad para interpretar este tipo de personajes. La canción tiene una melodía muy sutil al inicio que nos ayuda a sumergir en la historia y el romance entre Lady Marianne y Robin, pero esa fuerza que cobra en el coro y la coda ¡Wow! define perfectamente la película. Me gustaba mucho ver el video (que por cierto no pude encontrar) En ese video estaba Bryan Addams en el mismísimo bosque de Sherwood donde se filmó la película, o bueno, al menos eso parece. La canción sin dudas es maravillosa, me relaja mucho escucharla, y recuerdo que me gustaba escucharla particularmente por las noches para dormir, era como una nana para mi.
Hedwig's Theme
And obviously, I couldn't leave out the main theme that characterizes all the Harry Potter films, since I'm a super mega fan of the franchise. What can I say about what it means for a Potterhead to hear this theme? It made us scream with excitement in the movie theaters. It's not just a theme for Headwig (Harry's owl); it's more than that. It's an icon that characterizes the saga. In fact, I use it as the intro for my YouTube channel, La Magia es Poder (Magic is Power). In short, this melody knows how to stir the most sensitive fibers of the hearts of fans of the saga.
Y obviamente yo no podía dejar de lado el tema principal que caracteriza todas las películas de Harry Potter, ya que yo soy super mega fan de la franquicia ¿Qué les puedo decir acerca de lo que significa para un potterhead oír este tema? Nos hacía gritar de emoción en las salas de cine, no es solamente un tema para Headwig (la lechuza de Harry) es más que eso, es un ícono que caracteriza la saga, de hecho yo lo tengo como intro para mi canal de youtube La Magia es Poder, en resumen, esta melodía sabe como estremecer las fibras más sensibles de los corazones de los amantes de la saga.
And well, that was my selection. As I said, I'd like to tell you about many more songs I have in mind, but honestly, the post would be endless, haha.
