Obviously, This platform is a space to celebrate, enjoy, showcase and vibe to Afro-influenced songs. To this effect as I say always, get ready to vibe and get your dancing shoes ready.
I was very excited when I discovered that one of the songs suggested for the week is LONELY AT THE TOP BY ASAKE. A little background to that joy is that recently like about a week ago, A good friend who is also a musician reached our to me and asked me if I had listened to this song in question. Then, I had not listened to it, so he recommended that I listened to it. That I did and it had been on repeat since then.
The long and short of it is that the progression of the song captivated my attention closely. I must highlight that whoever is the producer of Asake´s music especially this one in question needs an award as I believe he is super talented. I believe that many would agree with me on that. His songs have been one of the most streamed songs in the Nigerian musical industry, which I think is well deserved.
I made use of the instrumental by Negro T rex from youtube and I added the melody of the song with my acoustic song!
