Hello dear friends of the Hive Open Mic Community,
I hope you are all doing well. What a joy it is for me to be back again with the opportunity to present to you all. Most importantly, reflecting on the theme of the week, which happens to be "Tu Luces sobre Mi," which, for me, literally means "your lights over me."

Hola queridos amigos de la Comunidad de Hive Open Mic,Espero que todos estén bien. Qué alegría para mí estar de nuevo con la oportunidad de presentarme ante todos ustedes. Más importante aún, reflexionando sobre el tema de la semana, que resulta ser "Tu Luces sobre Mi", lo que para mí significa literalmente "tus luces sobre mí".

I was super excited immediately I saw this as the theme of the week because I believe I've got just the perfect song for it, and that's what I plan to present. It took me quite a while to wrap my head around the chords of the song, its dynamic turns and riffs. Also, it was a bit tough to play and sing along at the same time since I am usually better at just playing the guitar in sync with a backing track or just the guitar alone.

Estaba súper emocionado tan pronto como vi esto como el tema de la semana porque creo que tengo la canción perfecta para ello, y eso es lo que planeo presentar. Me llevó bastante tiempo entender los acordes de la canción, sus giros dinámicos y riffs. Además, fue un poco difícil tocar y cantar al mismo tiempo ya que suelo ser mejor tocando la guitarra en sincronía con una pista de acompañamiento o solo la guitarra.

Reflecting on the theme of this week, "Tu luces sobre mí," I was led to immediately think about the value of love. Although it looks like it has nothing to do with the topic, I believe that love is like a light and plays the function of light for us in our lives. To simply recap, some of the very common functions of light include illumination, guidance, reflection, warmth, reflection, transformation, radiance, and so forth.

Reflexionando sobre el tema de esta semana, "Tu luces sobre mí", me llevó a pensar inmediatamente en el valor del amor. Aunque parece que no tiene nada que ver con el tema, creo que el amor es como una luz y cumple la función de la luz para nosotros en nuestras vidas. Para resumir, algunas de las funciones muy comunes de la luz incluyen la iluminación, la guía, la reflexión, la calidez, la transformación, el resplandor, y así sucesivamente.

Looking at the above functions, we can claim that love is like light in many ways. It helps us see things clearly, just like light does in the dark. Love brings warmth and comfort, like the sun on a chilly day. It guides us through tough times, like a light showing the way in the dark. Love makes us glow with happiness and positivity, transforming how we feel. It reflects in our actions, creating a positive and loving atmosphere around us.

Mirando las funciones anteriores, podemos afirmar que el amor es como la luz de muchas maneras. Nos ayuda a ver las cosas claramente, al igual que la luz en la oscuridad. El amor trae calor y comodidad, como el sol en un día frío. Nos guía a través de momentos difíciles, como una luz que muestra el camino en la oscuridad. El amor nos hace brillar de felicidad y positividad, transformando cómo nos sentimos. Se refleja en nuestras acciones, creando un ambiente positivo y amoroso a nuestro alrededor.

In response to the theme of the week, I wish to present a beautiful song by a genius artist from Nigeria. Although blind, he is one of the best pianists/producers/singers in Nigeria. His name is Cobhams Asuquo, and the title of his song that I am about to present is "Starlight."

En respuesta al tema de la semana, quiero presentar una hermosa canción de un genio artista de Nigeria. Aunque es ciego, es uno de los mejores pianistas/productores/cantantes en Nigeria. Su nombre es Cobhams Asuquo y el título de su canción que estoy a punto de presentar es "Starlight".

Already from the title, one can tell that the song is about light. But another important thing to note about the song is that he sings about how the love of his life is the guiding light of his life, hence the word starlight. He also expresses how he is willing to go any mile to reciprocate this beautiful illumination that love has brought over his life.

Ya desde el título, se puede decir que la canción trata sobre la luz. Pero otra cosa importante a tener en cuenta sobre la canción es que él canta sobre cómo el amor de su vida es la luz guía de su vida, de ahí la palabra luz de estrella. También expresa cómo está dispuesto a recorrer cualquier distancia para corresponder a esta hermosa iluminación que el amor ha traído a su vida.
