Estamos de vuelta una vez más en el Hive Music Festival Semana 174, Ronda 3. Siempre es una alegría y un privilegio regresar a este espacio, una comunidad que continúa inspirando crecimiento, creatividad y una expresión musical significativa. Cada semana trae una nueva oportunidad para compartir, aprender y conectar a través del lenguaje universal de la música.

For this week’s entry, I am presenting the melody version of a beautiful song titled “My Story,” composed by Jude Nnam, a respected composer of choral music in the Catholic space in Nigeria. His compositions carry a deep spiritual sensitivity and musical richness that resonate strongly with listeners and performers alike.

Para la presentación de esta semana, estoy interpretando la versión melódica de una hermosa canción titulada “My Story,” compuesta por Jude Nnam, un respetado compositor de música coral en el ámbito católico en Nigeria. Sus composiciones poseen una profunda sensibilidad espiritual y una riqueza musical que conectan fuertemente con quienes las escuchan e interpretan.

What drew me especially to this piece is its reflective and expressive melodic character. Even without the lyrics, the melody itself tells a story — one of journey, faith, perseverance, and identity. My goal in this guitar interpretation was to preserve that emotional depth and allow the instrument to speak in a gentle and sincere voice.

Lo que me atrajo especialmente de esta pieza es su carácter melódico reflexivo y expresivo. Incluso sin la letra, la melodía en sí cuenta una historia — una historia de camino, fe, perseverancia e identidad. Mi objetivo en esta interpretación en guitarra fue conservar esa profundidad emocional y permitir que el instrumento hable con una voz suave y sincera.

I have always been drawn to melodies that carry meaning beyond words. There is something powerful about instrumental expression, where tone, phrasing, and dynamics become the language. This piece gave me the opportunity to explore that space and share something calm, intimate, and heartfelt.

Siempre me han atraído las melodías que transmiten significado más allá de las palabras. Hay algo poderoso en la expresión instrumental, donde el tono, el fraseo y la dinámica se convierten en el lenguaje. Esta pieza me dio la oportunidad de explorar ese espacio y compartir algo tranquilo, íntimo y lleno de sentimiento.
