Hey everyone! I missed last week’s Hive Music Festival, but I’m really glad to be back this week sharing music with you all. Sometimes life pulls us away for a moment, but the love for music always brings me back. This community here is such a special place where I find encouragement and inspiration to keep playing and growing as a musician.

¡Hola a todos! La semana pasada no pude participar en el Hive Music Festival, pero estoy muy feliz de regresar esta semana para compartir música con ustedes. A veces la vida nos aleja un poco, pero el amor por la música siempre me vuelve a traer aquí. Esta comunidad es un lugar muy especial donde encuentro ánimo e inspiración para seguir tocando y creciendo como músico.

For Week 148 Round 1, I chose to play a song that has been a constant companion for so many people around the world—“Hey Jude” by The Beatles. It’s one of those timeless pieces that speaks of comfort and hope, and even decades later, it still feels fresh and full of life. I kept it simple this time, just me and my guitar, to focus on the raw emotion and message in the song.

Para la semana 148, ronda 1, elegí tocar una canción que ha sido compañera de tantos en todo el mundo—“Hey Jude” de The Beatles. Es una pieza atemporal que habla de consuelo y esperanza, y aunque han pasado décadas, sigue sonando fresca y llena de vida. Esta vez lo hice sencillo, solo yo y mi guitarra, para enfocarme en la emoción pura y el mensaje de la canción.

Playing this song brought back memories of why I fell in love with music in the first place: the power it has to connect us, to heal, and to remind us that even in difficult moments, there’s always a reason to keep going. I hope you can feel a little of that as you listen.

Tocar esta canción me trajo recuerdos de por qué me enamoré de la música: el poder que tiene para conectarnos, sanar y recordarnos que incluso en los momentos difíciles, siempre hay una razón para seguir adelante. Espero que puedan sentir un poco de eso al escucharla.

Maravillosa interpretación de esta emblematica canción del Cuarteto de Liverpool, la agrupación que marco un antes y despues y revolucionó la música. Te felicito por tan memorable presentación esta semana.

Excelente interpretación amigo. De niña, en casa de mi abuela, mis tíos disfrutaban está canción.

Cierro los ojos y los veo allí, haciendo trabajos de construcción en casa de mi abuela. Cabellos largos, camisas ceñidas y pantalones ajustados de bota super anchas.

WoW, aquellos años 70. Apenas contaba con 7 años. Escuchar tu canción me hizo volver en el tiempo.
