Today, for this week's showcase, I have decided to present to you a unique rendition of a beloved hymn titled "PRAISE TO THE LORD." What makes this performance special is that I have chosen to interpret it in the style of Cobham Asuquo, who has masterfully infused this traditional hymn with refined elements and improvised progressions.

Learning about Joachim Neander, the German hymn writer who composed it, and his deep love for nature and inspiration from the Düssel River Valley only deepens my appreciation for this hymn.

whenever I hear this hymn, I can't help but be moved by the powerful words and the depth of its meaning. The hymn's lyrics beautifully express my desire to praise and worship God as the King of all creation. They remind me of His might, sovereignty, and unwavering goodness. Every line speaks to my heart and prompts me to offer my heartfelt adoration and thanksgiving to Him.

What motivated me to choose to present this hymn is the fact that It has been a source of comfort and inspiration throughout my spiritual journey.
