Villa Tropico: A Weekend Full of Celebrations and Relaxation.

Hello friends of #weekendexperiences, today I’d like to share the magical Saturday I spent a few weeks ago with some family and friends, where we celebrated my girlfriend's birthday and a family friend’s birthday.

When we arrived at the celebration, my sister-in-law and her husband were already there. It was hilarious because she’s been eating a lot lately, and I always tease her about it. Imagine my surprise when the first thing I saw was her with a plate of food in her hands, haha! We chatted for a while since the music was still low, making it easy to talk. To my surprise, I found out she was pregnant—what a big piece of news! She was waiting for lunchtime to announce it to everyone.

Here’s the birthday girl, who wasted no time joining her sister and starting to munch on everything available, haha!

After a while, I helped my brother-in-law move a small grill over to where we were setting up to roast some chickens. As we prepared everything, the conversation flowed in a harmonious back-and-forth. Once the grill reached the right temperature, we started placing the chickens on to cook. Just then, the pool attendant came over to give us some tips on seasoning the meat and the timing for flipping it.

After a while, the meat started giving off a divine aroma. The ladies and family friends who were a bit farther away began to gather around to check on our progress, and they were thrilled with how everything looked. It was turning out even better than we had expected. Since the chicken still needed a bit more time and the heat was intense, we took the opportunity to cool off in the pool for about 10 minutes. What a relief!

Once everything was ready, we left the food in the hands of the ladies and headed to the water with my father-in-law, who had been jokingly complaining for a while that we had left him all alone 🥲.

From a distance, we encouraged the others to join us in the water, as they had spent the whole day sitting in the shade. After some playful, seductive dances, they finally decided to get in, and we spent some time sharing stories and laughing together.

It was a wonderful weekend, filled with celebrations and the company of friends, allowing us to escape the city's routine and create unforgettable moments with family. I'm also glad to have found this community where I can share these beautiful memories with you all.
