Running away is a farfetched option, so I plug the headset in and shut the world out as long as I can.
I put my pain in a song and sing it away.

Listening to Mocking Bird by Eminem, the note he wrote to his daughter during the early days of his career…I felt the pain in his voice.
A father and husband that wants to provide for his family, life has thrown so many not-so-nice things their way which has made him and his woman to fall apart.

Eminem was trying to give his daughter the life he never had and to do that, he'll have to be on the move.
The girl's mother developed the habit and was always on the noose, the little girl was in the middle of the whole drama, scared and unsure of what's coming next. But in his song he reassured her that they'd get through it together.
He'll go to any length in the world for her, he'll buy her a mocking bird and if the mocking bird don't sing, he'll break the birdie's neck. His reassuring note doesn't mean he's not scared too, he just has to stay strong for his little daughter.

Music! Something regular yet so irregular as they convey different feels to different people at different times.

I go to it to recharge my social battery…to get my mojo back…to dance… to feel alive.

To my likkle modicum of solace, if you were human I would hug you so tight and not let go, but I'm glad you're not. Stay the way you are, as humans are prone to change.
