Things I Love About Youtube Music

While I am still using soundcloud, these days I also use youtube music. One of its intriguing feature is the dislike button before likes button. it's certainly unique because many of thing starts with like but dislike comes first on youtube music. I wonder how often people choose the wrong button. When they want to like, they ended up pressing dislike button.

I am actually pretty surprised of its recommendation. For someone who used to randomness of Soundcloud, finding music that I actually like is good. I know spotify does this but the recommendation is often matched less with my music taste or things that I listen the most. With youtube music, once I listen on binge RnB, I get recommended a lot of it. Somehow, I ended up finding out some shockers. Such as Grentperez, he's filipino australian singer and songwriter. He's still fairly young but his single "cherrywine" is pop jazzy vibe. If you enjoy cheerful jazz, this one is recommended.

Another artist, RINI is also filipino-australian but mostly sings RnB. While I first discovered him through "Thuy", I ended up listening to a lot of his single and albums. One in particular that I love listening is good intentions. It's from his After sun album 2018. It has the most beats compared to his other songs and albums. Rini's characteristic is basically a long melody and music before the lyrics kicks in. It also shows in this song.

Anthony Lazaro and Sarah kang are also in my playlist since the last 2 years. I listened to this dozens of time and it's always best coffee/cafe experience to listen to. Anthony lazzaro has a unique voice and soothing. His voice is romantic and best to listen when having coffee/tea.

These are my options this December other than Jazzy and regular X-mas spirit songs. While many places have played it,I wish they could pick something better on their playlist. Anyway, enjoy this holiday and cozy season!
