Después de 3 años de trabajo duro y con mucha pasión al arte de la luthería y sobretodo al compromiso y responsabilidad de llevar a cabo una generación más de fabricante de instrumentos de la familia Figueroa, me decidi a dar El Gran Paso, dejar el Balcón/Taller en mi casa para formalizar en una infraestructura propia Mi Taller.

Hello dear Hiver's, I hope you are super well and pleased to write you again this wonderful anecdote about the evolution and growth of the family tradition.

After 3 years of hard work and with a lot of passion to the art of lutherie and above all to the commitment and responsibility to carry out one more generation of instrument maker of the Figueroa family, I decided to take The Big Step, to leave the Balcony/Workshop in my house to formalize in an own infrastructure My Workshop.

Ese espacio físico perteneció a la Fuente de Soda Don Julio, negocio de mi papá que estuvo activo 38 años en la ciudad de Cumaná brindando excelente comida y bebida, además de una atención súper buena, quedando en el recuerdo de muchísimas personas de nuestra ciudad y de los visitantes.

Este gran paso de dejar mi casa para mudarme a ese lugar a trabajar, vino acompañado del registro formal de mi taller y de la creación de mi marca, algo fresco e innovador, un nombre que me representa y hace mención orgullosamente en su imagen corporativa a la Dinastia Figueroa, familia que se ha dedicado desde el año 1905 a este hermoso arte.

That physical space belonged to the Don Julio Soda Fountain, my father's business that was active for 38 years in the city of Cumaná providing excellent food and drinks, in addition to a super good service, remaining in the memory of many people in our city and visitors.

This big step of leaving my home to move to this place to work, came with the formal registration of my workshop and the creation of my brand, something fresh and innovative, a name that represents me and proudly mentions in its corporate image the Figueroa Dynasty, a family that has been dedicated since 1905 to this beautiful art.

Los primeros días en mi nuevo espacio fueron importantes y llenos de ansiedad y alegrias, pues tenia muchisimas ideas para su remodelación y futuros proyectos con la finalidad de contribuir en la formación de fabricantes en pro de fortalecer la cultura y la tradición sucrense.

Cuando comence la remodelación, conte con el apoyo de un vecino arbañil que según mis indicaciones fuimos dándole forma a ese maravilloso espacio destinado para trabajar la luthería. Semanas después teniamos lista la primera etapa de proyecto de remodelación y continue felizmente con los encargos y con la fabricación de instrumentos para el stock.

The first days in my new space were important and full of anxiety and joy, because I had many ideas for remodeling and future projects in order to contribute to the formation of manufacturers in order to strengthen the culture and tradition of Sucre.

When I started the remodeling, I counted with the support of a neighboring mason that according to my instructions we were giving shape to this wonderful space destined to work the lutherie. Weeks later we had the first stage of the remodeling project ready and I happily continued with the orders and the manufacture of instruments for the stock.

Meses después y lleno de emoción y alegria continue con la segunda etapa de la remodelación, el espacio ya era más comodo y amplio, se construyó un baño y algunas áreas para el almacenamiento de la materia prima.

Poco a poco y desde ese año 2017 se ha seguido remodelando el taller y dotandolo de maquinarias y herramientas para mayor eficiencia y eficacia del trabajo, con el objetivo de trabajar mucho más comodo y preciso, asicomo brindando una experiencia excelente para los clientes y visitantes que día a día acuden al taller.

Actualmente vamos por la cuarta etapa y se está acondicionando y mejorando la fachada del taller, pronto un post mostrando como quedó todo para el conocimiento del público en general y de esta maravillosa comunidad Hive Sucre.

Months later and full of excitement and joy I continued with the second stage of the remodeling, the space was already more comfortable and spacious, a bathroom was built and some areas for the storage of raw materials.

Little by little and since 2017 we have continued remodeling the workshop and equipping it with machinery and tools for greater efficiency and effectiveness of work, with the aim of working much more comfortable and accurate, as well as providing an excellent experience for customers and visitors who come to the workshop every day.

Currently we are in the fourth stage and we are conditioning and improving the facade of the workshop, soon a post showing how everything was for the knowledge of the general public and this wonderful community Hive Sucre.
