Mi nombre Completo es Lurbelis Roceleste Gutiérrez Gil, de padres con muchos años de Casados, soy la menor de dos hermanas, una llevándome 10años y la otra 11 años. Nací en el Estado Yaracuy, uno de los Estados más mitológico y montañoso que existe en Venezuela, sigo creciendo y viviendo allí.

Desde una corta edad, a los 6 años y medio mis padres tomaron la mejor idea, inscribirme en el Núcleo de Orquestas y Coros de mi comunidad, pues siempre mostré cierto interés y afinidad a la música, baile, canto y arte en general.

He experimentado el arte en cada una de sus facetas, fui cuenta cuentos, me encantó por mucho tiempo aprenderme los cuentos, dramatizarlos y contarlos en grandes escenarios, competencia. Representé al Municipio y posteriormente al Estado Yaracuy en una competencia Nacional con tal solo 11 años, viajé a la Ciudad de Caracas sola, todo un reto para mí pues era de muy mal comer.

Recuerdo con especial cariño mi primera experiencia cantando, el cómo me di cuenta de mi capacidad para cantar, y es que, gracias a que crecí y me instruí en la música clásica, a mis 10 años realicé mi primer casting para un reality show de canto, trasmitido en televisión regional, cada semana eran distintos retos y temáticas, cantaba canciones infantiles, recuerdo haber cantado “Y si hacemos un muñeco de Frosen” e incluso canciones retro “Así no te amará jamás" de Amanda Miguel. Concursé con personas que me doblaban mi edad y logré llegar a la final y obtener el 3er lugar.

Mi infancia fue muy participativa, actividades extracurriculares, en cada actividad cultural de la escuela, concursos, allí estaba yo. Hice un curso de locución y animación y tuve mi primer programa de radio, era infantil, mi canción favorita entre cortinas era “El pollito pío”, y aunque todo se ve de manera genial, crecí con una constante autoexigencia, mis notas en el colegio debían ser las mejores, mi nombre debía estar en el cuadro de honor.

Estudié en un colegio donde para mis padres, mi calificación debía ser perfecta, obtuve el primer lugar de promedio en mi graduación, mi mejor amiga, de toda mi infancia y adolescencia me traicionó, al enterarse que obtuve ese lugar, decidió pelearlo con los directivos puesto que decía que ella debía serlo para enorgullecer a sus padres y porque su hermano mayor también había sido el primero en su generación, eso me dolió y entendí que las amistades sí dañan, me marcó y a partir de eso me cuesta mucho hacer amigas.

En vacaciones, mi tía madrina me llevaba a Punto Fijo, Estado Falcon, nunca pudo tener hijas y al igual que a mis hermanas y primas, nos quiso mucho, brindándonos unas vacaciones muy bonitas y divertidas, visitando los médanos de Coro y playas.

A mis 16 años obtuve mi primer trabajo como Profesora de Violín, fue la mejor noticia que pude haber recibido, y es que hasta el día de hoy, no hay nada más lindo y significante que enseñar lo que tú aprendiste, volverte una persona capaz de demostrar eso e impartirlo hacia los niños, creo profundamente que la relación que tiene un profesor de música con su estudiante, nunca será igual a la de otros profesores de otras áreas: el maestro de música termina siendo mucho más que alguien que le enseña.

Inicié mis Estudios Universitarios en la Carrera de Ingeniería Química, rama que me ha encantado y llamado la tensión por mucho tiempo, con calificaciones muy buenas en esa materia, pero no muy buenas en cálculo, lo reprobé dos veces. Realicé tres semestres presenciales y uno online.

La situación de mi país se volvió muy dura en esos años, y para mí se volvió un sacrificio ir todos los días a las 4:30 am a tomar el tren para luego caminar unas 20 cuadras hasta llegar a la universidad, almorzar comida fría, volver para dar clases de música y llegar a casa a estudiar, acostarme a las 12 am estudiando y solo dormir cuatro horas. Mis padres ya no tenían cómo ayudarme.

Evaluando las diferentes situaciones difíciles, el dinero que ganaba dando clases no me alcanzaba para subsistir, mi peso comenzó a bajar y enfermé de quistes. Cabe aclarar que nunca me vi severamente mal de salud o pasé hambre, pero necesitaba hacer algo; mis amigos y familiares salían del país buscando respuestas, siendo migrantes en otros países para también buscar un poco de alivio.

Me vi en la necesidad, y teniendo una hermana en el país vecino Colombia, me fui, con tal solo 18 años recién cumplidos, fue muy duro pero debía también despejar mi mente y saber lo que era trabajar por mí y para mí, ayudar a mis padres y darle compañía a mi sobrina que se encontraba también en Colombia.

Conocí muchos pueblitos, desde los más lindos hasta aquellos en los que la distancia entre casa y casa eran larguísimos.

Ah, sí, cursé un año de ingeniería química a distancia, pero fue muy complicado, siempre fue muy complicado, era una carrera que exigía muchísimo, así que actué rápido, busque una universidad que estuviera en mi país pero que la pudiera estudiar a donde sea, y así fue, inicié mis estudios de Administración de Empresas y actualmente estoy cursando el 5to semestre y Dios mío, no les miento si les digo que he llorado haciendo la tesis y sigo en eso.

Mis logros, nunca los he mirado materialmente, si algo puede proporcionarme felicidad y seguridad soy agradecida mi éxito va más allá de eso, me siento bien con cada lección aprendida.

Me devolví a Venezuela a dos días para cumplir mis 20 años y fue una decisión que me cambió la vida, di un giro total.

La decisión de ver a familia de vuelta, me di cuenta de que debía regresar, debía descansar, debía volver a retomar mis sueños, pues sentí que los perdía estando en Colombia.

I have never looked at my achievements materially. If something can provide me with happiness and security, I am grateful. My success goes beyond that. I feel good about every lesson learned.

I returned to Venezuela two days before I turned 20 and it was a decision that changed my life, I made a complete turnaround.

Inmediatamente, a los días de regresar, me dirigí a la Orquesta, necesitaba ver mis niños, y me sorprendió que ya no lo eran, eran todos unos adolescentes, y fue allí, con un abrazo, que me di cuenta de que nunca los debí abandonar, que ese era mi segundo hogar y debía seguir haciendo música.

Como historia un poco loca, pero la resumiré porque ésta quiero contársela a profundidad luego, incursioné en el mundo de la belleza y del modelaje, sí, fui Candidata y posteriormente Reina de los Carnavales de mi Municipio, luego, hice otro casting para así quedar seleccionada y así fue, representé a el Municipio Páez en las Ferias Estadales, Las Ferias de Mayo del Estado Yaracuy, viví experiencias maravillosas y algunas un poco desagradable que no le desearía a nadie.
