«Cómo te extraño mi amor» es una balada romántica1 de Nueva Ola de 1964 escrita por Leo Dan, incluida en su álbum homónimo,3y uno de sus más reconocidos éxitos musicales. También es uno de los temas que se escuchan en la película de 1966 ¡Como te extraño...! protagonizada por el propio Leo Dan. En 2018 la canción fue incluida en el álbum en vivo Celebrando una leyenda, en la que la interpreta junto al cantante mexicano Rubén Albarrán de Café Tacvba.
Según el autor, la canción nació en la provincia de Córdoba cuando filmaba la película y está inspirada en el infructuoso encuentro con una reportera brasileña interesada en su éxito anterior, Celia, con la cual nunca volvió a coincidir. Originalmente la canción se titularía Soraya, nombre de la periodista.

It is also one of the songs heard on the 1966 film How I miss you...! starring Leo Dan himself. In 2018 the song was included in the live album Celebrando una leyenda, in which he performs it together with the Mexican singer Rubén Albarrán from Café Tacvba.
According to the author, the song was born in the province of Córdoba when he was filming the film and is inspired by the unsuccessful meeting with a Brazilian reporter interested in his previous success, Celia, with whom he never met again. Originally the song would be titled Soraya, name of the journalist.
