My First Concert Experience: Oh! Caraga
Hello, everyone! It's @lorene08 back again with another blog. Today, I am excited to share something special with all of you. It's my first time attending a concert! The venue wasn't that huge, but there were probably around 500 people there.
All these happened on May 12, 2024. I was undecided to attend the Oh! Caraga concert since I am not that much of a fan of them and only knew a few songs. My cousin, who's a huge fan, needed someone to accompany her(so I agreed to go with her). My father, also a fan, but couldn't make it since he had too much of his schedule, asked me to go.
The entrance fee was around 100 pesos. We arrived at the venue by 7 PM, but since there were lots of bands performing before Oh! Caraga, we had to wait. Still, we enjoyed it, we sang and vibed with the bands. It took almost an hour before Oh! Caraga finally started their concert at 9 PM. While waiting, I started overthinking because it was getting late and they hadn't started yet, but all my worries disappeared once they finally took the stage.
The crowd in the venue, San Remigio Complex, was packed with cheering crowds. People were on their feet cheering as Oh! Caraga finally came out from the backstage. They started playing their hit songs and I loved that part of the concert when they played "Ipanumpa Ko." The lights in the complex went out, and people were using the flashlights on their phones as everyone was feeling the song. I couldn't help but laugh at my cousin because she cried while seeing her favorite band.
Watching her cry because she finally saw her favorite band made me realize that I can relate to her. Once I get to attend a concert by one of my favorite artists, I know I will cry too, and I'll be singing along with all my heart. Even though I'm not a fan of Oh! Caraga, I also got emotional because I could see how much their fans were enjoying it. I could feel the happiness of the people around me, knowing that their dream had come true seeing their favorite band perform live.
Another favorite part of the concert was after it ended. We were able to take quick pictures with the band members individually. It was a bit challenging and sweaty to take pictures because there were so many people, and there was even some pushing. Luckily, they had bodyguards with them to help manage the crowd.
The day ended (yes, DAY) because my cousin and I got home around midnight. Thankfully, her parents decided to pick us up. It's really a wonderful experience and will never forget in my life. I hope I will experience another concert soon, hoping that it might be for one of my favorite artists!

Before I wrap up my blog, here's another quote: "People might call it a 'crazy' dream, but I've always believed that the most impossible things can be achieved if you just keep striving for them." — G-Dragon from BIGBANG. For me, this quote will be so valuable since it teaches me that there are no right and wrong ways when one wants to chase his/her big dreams, as long as determination and consistent effort is always given. As a K-pop fan, I hope to see my idols perform live and sing along with fellow fans. Though it may not happen right away, I believe that with persistence, this dream will eventually come true.
Attending concert is also one of the most important event I love to.I enjoyed attending I enjoy listening to music and singing along with them.
