Yeah that is what I am wondering @obaro , I only ever use 3speak and Hive, not ecency or Peakd. I see that they are all linked together, I just don't understand the differences or reasons for all the platforms.
When I signed up, it was just Hive
I believe the reason for ecency is for easy documentation.
Why are we sending people to ecency to sign up rather than signing up to Hive?
Essentially, is it all just the same thing, including platforms such as Peakd and 3speak - when I joined Hive there was only Hive, or at least it's all I've ever used.
Is the ecency link purely to count how many we have onboarded?
Sorry for all the questions, I am preparing a video and want to get the instructions and details clear (for myself mostly, but of course to pass on)
All of these dapps are on Hive. I think you mean hive.blog. Hiveblog is exactly the same thing as peakd or ecency. Its just different designs and slightly different ways they work.
But its all on Hive. When they go to signup to Ecency they get a Hive account and are on Hive.
The reason for using ecency is because its by far the simplest way of creating a Hive account and I can track referrals there.
And the same as inleo, not only peakd or ecency :D
