Saludos apreciada comunidad musical, yo me considero una persona que ama la música al punto de que me gusta hacer literalmente todas las actividades diarias con música, desde los quehaceres del hogar hasta ducharme, aunque algunas personas no logran concentrarse con música yo soy una excepción, cuando estudio o trabajo me gusta oír música, por lo tanto siempre intento explorar nuevos estilos musicales e incluso artistas y es gracias a lo último que hoy me dirijo a ustedes amigos lectores para darles una recomendación musical que sé me van a agradecer muchísimo.

Hace aproximadamente un mes por cosas del destino me topé con una playlist que era totalmente desconocida para mí en youtube, el caso era que yo llevaba casi todo el día oyendo las mismas canciones pero de un momento a otro de forma aleatoria empecé a oír canciones que eran desconocidas para mí, pero no me desagradaban en lo absoluto así que dejaba que sonaran, fue justo en el momento donde sonó un tema conocido en el cual pare todo lo que estaba viendo para ver quién era la intérprete de estas canciones, su nombre es Tems y desde ese instante quedé fascinada con su discografía.

Greetings dear musical community, I consider myself a person who loves music to the point that I like to do literally all daily activities with music, from household chores to take a shower, although some people can not concentrate with music I am an exception, when I study or work I like to listen to music, therefore I always try to explore new musical styles and even artists and it is thanks to the latter that today I am addressing to you friends readers to give you a musical recommendation that I know you will thank me very much.

About a month ago by fate I came across a playlist that was totally unknown to me on youtube, the thing was that I had been almost all day listening to the same songs but from one moment to another randomly began to hear songs that were unknown to me, but I did not dislike at all so I let them play, it was just at the moment where a known theme sounded in which I stopped everything I was seeing to see who was the interpreter of these songs, her name is Tems and from that moment I was fascinated with her discography.

Tems es una cantante nigeriana de 27 años que dejó su empleo para emprender una carrera musical, fue en el año 2018 donde inicio todo cuando lanzó su primer sencillo pero, realmente fue a finales del 2019 donde la mayoría supo de ella con el lanzamiento de su sencillo Try me que fue un éxito, posteriormente fue cogiendo más vuelo y logró hacer colaboraciones significativas con artistas reconocidos como Drake, Wizkid y obtuvo apoyo del cantante Khalid quien la recluto en su equipo de trabajo.

Muchas personas comparan a Tems con Rihanna, afirman que será la próxima Rihanna nigeriana, sin embargo yo siento que sus estilos son diferentes y tems tiene una luz propia que la define como artista. Tems es una artista que se encuentra en ascenso y que poco a poco se está haciendo conocida en el afrobeat, su voz es muy disfrutable y su estilo es envidiable, yo personalmente amo su estilo de vestir el cual es muy urbano y chic, su estilismo también es algo que me gusta es una chica que no pierde su esencia africana y la lleva a otro nivel. Además, sus pocas canciones me han gustado como por ejemplo Demages el cual es un tema que no puedo dejar de sonar en mi playlist actual.

Tems is a 27 year old Nigerian singer who left her job to embark on a music career, it was in 2018 where it all started when she released her first single but, it was really at the end of 2019 where most knew about her with the release of her single Try me which was a hit, later she was catching more flight and managed to make significant collaborations with renowned artists like Drake, Wizkid and got support from singer Khalid who recruited her in his work team.

Many people compare Tems to Rihanna, they claim she will be the next Nigerian Rihanna, however I feel their styles are different and Tems has a light of her own that defines her as an artist. Tems is an artist that is on the rise and is slowly becoming known in afrobeat, her voice is very enjoyable and her style is enviable, I personally love her style of dressing which is very urban and chic, her styling is also something I like she is a girl that doesn't lose her African essence and takes it to another level. Also, her few songs I have liked such as Demages which is a song that I can't stop playing in my current playlist.

Aunque la mayoría ha oído su voz gracias a las colaboraciones que tiene con otros artistas como Justin Bieber (Uno con los que más se dio a conocer) yo tuve la suerte de conocerla por su trabajo en solitario, y si no fuese porque estoy segura de que ella será una artista muy reconocida e influyente en el futuro, además su discografía vale la pena escucharla. Tems puede ponerte a bailar e incluso relajarte con su voz y eso es una de las cosas que me gustan de ella.

Actualmente hay muchas mujeres que están haciendo su mayor esfuerzo por destacar musicalmente hablando y otras que aun con toda la fama del mundo se han vuelto muy predecibles a nivel musical y me atrevería a decir que aburridas, así que considero que es momento de empezar a apoyar a aquellas que se encuentran en esa gran escalada al éxito musical, nunca es tarde para consumir nueva música.

Although most have heard her voice thanks to the collaborations she has with other artists like Justin Bieber (One with whom she became known the most) I was lucky enough to know her for her solo work, and if it wasn't for that I'm sure she will be a very recognized and influential artist in the future, plus her discography is worth listening to. Tems can make you dance and even relax with her voice and that's one of the things I like about her.

Currently there are many women who are doing their best to stand out musically speaking and others that even with all the fame in the world have become very predictable musically and I would dare to say boring, so I think it's time to start supporting those who are in that great climb to musical success, it's never too late to consume new music.
