A few nights ago, I found myself in a strange moment—one of unease and tension, as if something dark had entered my space. It was late, and I was in my studio, guitar in hand, feeling a presence I couldn’t quite explain. In that moment, I did the only thing I knew to do: I prayed. I asked Jesus for protection, for peace, and for grace. What followed was a shift—a calming energy that filled the room, lifting the weight off my shoulders. I picked up my guitar and let the music flow. Presence of Grace was born from that experience.

This piece is an instrumental acoustic post-rock meditation, blending melancholic melodies with a deep sense of solace. The low tuning gives it a resonant, grounding quality, while the phrasing reflects a journey through darkness into light. It’s both somber and peaceful, a reminder that even in moments of uncertainty, there is grace to be found.

Hace unas noches, me encontré en un momento extraño, de inquietud y tensión, como si algo oscuro hubiera entrado en mi espacio. Era tarde y estaba en mi estudio, guitarra en mano, sintiendo una presencia que no podía explicar. En ese momento, hice lo único que sabía hacer: oré. Le pedí a Jesús protección, paz y gracia. Lo que siguió fue un cambio: una energía calmante que llenó la habitación, quitándome el peso de encima. Tomé mi guitarra y dejé que la música fluyera. Presence of Grace nació de esa experiencia.

Esta pieza es una meditación post-rock acústica instrumental, que combina melodías melancólicas con una profunda sensación de consuelo. La afinación baja le da una calidad resonante y arraigada, mientras que el fraseo refleja un viaje a través de la oscuridad hacia la luz. Es a la vez sombrío y pacífico, un recordatorio de que incluso en momentos de incertidumbre, se puede encontrar la gracia.
