After The Storm - Soar Like an Eagle

So you pretend to be this big, strong person, weathering many storms, and that you've come out unscathed once calm returns. But then the day comes when you realize you're not as strong as you thought, and you've been hiding behind a facade. Especially those closest to you. Possibly also been fooling yourself.
That is what literally happens in nature. Once the storm subsides, you look outside and realize there has been quite a bit of damage. So it is in life, and once you start settling into this new life, you're suddenly hit by a deluge. Whatever's going on now, you wonder. Time to look inwards, and take care of yourself.
You finally learn that it's ok to show the cracks, and it's time to start healing.
A whole new world awaits, and you know that you will soon start soaring like an eagle again!

Sharing a little bit of Eagles here for Three Tunes Tuesday #235, an initiative of @ablaze.
How I only really listened to their music much later in life, I have no idea, but it was after hearing the DVD of their Farewell Tour in Melbourne at my brother's. Hubby and I ended up becoming huge fans and bought that same DVD and some of their CDs.
Glenn Frey, who was the founding member of the Eagles, died nine years ago, but his voice lives on in their songs.
