Buen día domingo, amigos de Hive Arte! Una vez más, yo y mis mañanas creativas de acuarela, venimos a mostrarles un proyecto pequeño, pero alentador y bonito. Espero que lo disfruten y les guste la historia.

Les contaré, este dibujo pertenece a una banda que me gusta mucho, y en el último tiempo han llenado mis días con su música, estoy feliz porque pronto los veré en vivo, y si bien falta, estoy preparándome para pintar una remera con su dibujo y alguna frase.

I'll tell you, this drawing belongs to a band that I like a lot, and in the last time they have filled my days with their music, I'm happy because soon I will see them live, and although I'm still missing, I'm getting ready to paint a t-shirt with their drawing and some phrase.

Aún no decido qué frase usaré, asique mientras pasa la música, voy apuntando las que me gustan, y pensando si me gusta para una remera o no. También estoy pensando si el logo lo quiero más bien grande o más pequeño… son decisiones que aún no he tomado, tendré que seguir probando, entonces con este interés, es que he decidido empezar a familiarizarme con el logo, que como dije, si bien es algo sencillo (no se esforzaron mucho) me gusta que es “fácilmente” replicable y es lo que más me gusta de mis bandas favoritas, que puedes dibujarlos de aprenderte cómo son los pequeños detalles que lo hacen distintivo.

I still haven't decided what phrase I will use, so while the music is going on, I'm writing down the ones I like, and thinking if I like it for a t-shirt or not. I'm also thinking if I want the logo rather big or smaller... these are decisions I haven't made yet, I'll have to keep trying, so with this interest, I've decided to start getting familiar with the logo, which as I said, even though it's something simple (they didn't make much effort) I like that it's "easily" replicable and that's what I like most about my favorite bands, that you can draw them from learning how the small details that make it distinctive are.

En el dibujo del que tomé esta idea, está al revés, es decir, el logo es blanco liso, y el fondo es algo así como agua de acuarela. Bueno, no era mi intención hacer ese mismo dibujo, así que decidí que le daría color al logo con tonos azules y verdes. Logrando así, como tiene siempre esta magia la acuarela, no poder distinguir si es un solo color, varios, o cuantas mezclas existen aquí.

In the drawing I took this idea from, it's upside down, that is, the logo is plain white, and the background is something like watercolor water. Well, it was not my intention to make that same drawing, so I decided that I would give color to the logo with blue and green tones. Achieving this way, as watercolor always has this magic, not being able to distinguish if it is a single color, several, or how many mixtures exist here.

Solo para que entiendas a qué me refiero, usé 3 tonos distintos de azul, dos verdes y también amarilo. Una gran combinación para simular esta mancha de un test de Rorschach en colores y así darle vida al logo de la banda.

Just so you understand what I mean, I used 3 different shades of blue, two greens and also yellow. A great combination to simulate this stain of a Rorschach test in colors and thus give life to the band's logo.

Verás en algunas fotos que este papel no es el ideal para acuarelas, y por ello tardó más en secar y te muestro allí como se ve de brillante cuando miras con cuidado. De todos modos es un papel muy grueso, por lo que se seca y queda muy bien para esta técnica, aún sin ser el específico.

You will see in some photos that this paper is not ideal for watercolors, and therefore it took longer to dry and I show you there how shiny it looks when you look carefully. Anyway it is a very thick paper, so it dries and looks great for this technique, even without being the specific one.

La verdad es que me encantó simplemente darle color con manchas y tonalidad para familiarizarme con el logo, el diseño y la pintura. Aunque claro, la pintura para tela poco tiene que ver con las acuarelas, pero para mi es parte de empezar a familiarizarme con el diseño. Todo esto, claro, mientras escucho el nuevo disco de la banda y voy eligiendo cuál frase usaré. Aunque para el dibujo de hoy, lo acompañé de una frase de una canción vieja, me encanta como quedó, y la naturalidad con la que los colores se mezclaron, el destello con rotulador lo destacó, y la frase humaniza a todos, aunque no hayas escuchado la banda, he sentido muy cálida la expresión “soy como cualquiera que quiere florecer”

The truth is that I loved simply giving it color with stains and tonality to familiarize myself with the logo, the design and the paint. Of course, painting on canvas has little to do with watercolors, but for me it's part of getting familiar with the design. All this, of course, while listening to the band's new album and choosing which phrase to use. Although for today's drawing, I accompanied it with a phrase from an old song, I love how it turned out, and the naturalness with which the colors blended, the flash with marker highlighted it, and the phrase humanizes everyone, even if you have not heard the band, I have felt very warm the expression "I am like anyone who wants to bloom".

En la vida estamos todos siguiendo nuestro camino, siendo como cualquier otro que quiere llegar a algún sitio, ser mejor, superarse, vencer los objetivos, que deje ser ser invierno en el corazón, y que llegue el momento de florecer. Los esfuerzos valen, y por eso elegí esta frase y ahora tengo en mi pared este dibujo como para alentarme y pensar en él cuando más divaga mi mente.

In life we are all following our path, being like anyone else who wants to get somewhere, to be better, to overcome, to overcome the goals, that let be winter in the heart, and that the time comes to bloom. The efforts are worth, and that is why I chose this phrase and now I have this drawing on my wall to encourage me and think about it when my mind wanders the most.

Espero que les haya gustado, hoy no les hablé de técnica ni nada específico, incluso para este tipo de resultados, lo mejor es mezclar los colores cuando aún está húmedo y dejarse sorprender por el destino que toman los colores, justamente no tienes que respetar mucho aquí, y el resultado siempre será distinto y sorprendente.

I hope you liked it, today I didn't talk about technique or anything specific, even for this kind of results, the best is to mix the colors when it is still wet and let yourself be surprised by the destiny that the colors take, you just don't have to respect much here, and the result will always be different and surprising.
