I chose this song because, from the first time I heard it, I connected deeply with its message. Escogí esta canción porque, desde que la escuché por primera vez, conecté profundamente con su mensaje. Es de esas letras que te hacen pensar en lo que fue, lo que pudo ser… y lo que ya no será.
Bruno Mars escribió esta canción en un momento muy vulnerable de su vida, cuando atravesaba una ruptura amorosa. La canción expresa ese dolor sincero de darse cuenta tarde de lo valioso que era alguien, y cómo a veces el amor se pierde por no saber cuidarlo a tiempo. Me parece muy poderosa porque no habla de celos ni reproches, sino de aceptar con humildad que otra persona ahora ocupa ese lugar, y aun así desearle lo mejor.
Es un tema cargado de emoción, con una melodía sencilla pero profunda, que te envuelve. Quise compartirla porque sé que muchos pueden sentirse identificados con estas palabras.
