Music And Mood. The M Square.
Music and Mood go hand in hand so I call it M square. It's not a new thing anymore how music has a great influence on my mood and I know for a fact this is a general thing. Music can make you happy and make you sad. it can change your mood in a second. Music has always been a great help. It has helped me through some difficult situations in my life and it's still helping me. whenever it seems like there is no headway, music is something I use to ease my mind before thinking of a solution. Sometimes I wonder what a world without music will be like. boring right? hell yeah!!!!!!. In this post I will be sharing some events in my life and how music helped me through.
The picture above is a picture of a significant day in my life but woke up that day and a lot of things feel wrong the more I try to fix things the worse it gets. The make-up artist was running late and so is the photographer. The event was about to start and I was not ready at all. My emotions were everywhere and I didn't know when tears started rolling down, amid the confusion, my phone rang and the ringing tone at that time was my favorite song smile for Me by Simi. Smile for Me by Simi is a piece of music about smiling always in every situation. I didn't bother picking up the call I just went to my music library to listen to music and other music and that helps to calm my nerves. Eventually, every other thing fall into place and the event went well.
Some days I still wonder what science is behind the music(I will probably research the science of music) that can easily affect mood. I know for a fact this is not only my situation. it happens to my friends as well and I have also read articles on things like this. I must say music is a blessing to this world.
The picture above was taken about 6 years ago. I used to be a part of the technical crew in my church. I remember this day vividly because I went to church depressed. it was the week one of my neighbors died. I remember feeling so sad for the rest of the week and cried my eyes out but immediately after the praise section started at church my mood was lifted. I couldn't remain that sad and since that day the grief was a little bit easier.
I have also had my fair share of moments of doubt, days I feel I am not enough or I don't have what it takes or I will just self-sabotage. Music also has been my help in all those days. There is a particular song by Lauren Daigle that helps me in some of my moments of doubt. Its a music about identity and how strong we all are.
So many events music made better for me but I will stop here for now maybe I will continue some other time or maybe I will like to read from you in the comment section on how music and your mood have intertwined. Let's talk, it will be fun.

In many ways, music is the best catalyst I could ask for in terms of properly managing my mood. In fact, many times when I have been stressed or down, it is precisely the action of listening to music that has a profound effect on me. Excellent post, @lifeoflade
This is accurate.
music is life.
No question about it, friend.
