Fue un día llenó de diversidad cultural en el marco de las actividades Camiartes que se desplegó desde Colinas de Bello Monte hasta Las Mercedes, en nuestro caso estuvimos más enfocados a dos partes de Colinas de Bello Monte, La reapertura de El Farolito de Los Uruguayos en la Avenida Caroní y a media cuadra una tarima donde presentaron grupos de rock por la altura del estacionamiento de la cadena de Supermercados UNICASA (la cual ya quedaría como tema de una nueva publicación).

It was a day full of cultural diversity within the framework of the Camiartes activities that unfolded from Colinas de Bello Monte to Las Mercedes, in our case we were more focused on two parts of Colinas de Bello Monte, the reopening of El Farolito de Los Uruguayos on Caroní Avenue and half a block away a stage where rock bands performed by the parking lot of the supermarket chain UNICASA (which would be the subject of a new publication).

En base a los puntos abordados durante y posterior a la Rueda de Prensa que sostuvimos en el mencionado establecimiento gastronómico y cultural, nuestros hermanos Ariél (maestro parrillero) y Fabián de nacionalidad uruguaya comenzaron su actividad comercial vendiendo empanadas, con el tiempo vendieron otros tipos de alimentos como Pizza, nunca contemplaron poner un cartél al establecimiento, pero por las compras que hicieron de faroles comenzaron a ser conocidos como El Farolito, les decían el Farolito de Los Uruguayos por la concurrencia de sus paisanos, su gastronomía se basa en la fusión de cocina venezolana y uruguaya y han comenzado a vibrar con el pasar de los tiempos con actividades culturales de Jazz, Rock, etc donde se presentó el fallecido Simón Díaz (referencia del folklore llanero), Frank Quntero.

Hace un año tuvieron que cerrar por las arremetidas de la Alcaldía de Baruta con un supuesto problema de expendio de licor cuando el establecimiento tenía la documentación legal para ejercer su actividad comercial con licores, en consonancia hubo presión de una minoría de vecinos presionando para su cierre definitivo; Entre trámites con abogados y recolecta de firmas lograron ganar el caso.

A year ago they had to close due to the attacks of the Mayor's Office of Baruta with an alleged problem of liquor sales when the establishment had the legal documentation to exercise its commercial activity with liquor, accordingly there was pressure from a minority of neighbors pressuring for its definitive closure; between procedures with lawyers and collection of signatures they managed to win the case.

El cronograma de sus actividades inició en sus alrededores con exposiciones de cuadros de artes hecha por la artista plástico Carola Villegas y dentro del local retomaron los Faroleando, una actividad qué nos sumerge al mundo de la poesía.

Transcurrían las horas cayendo la noche con más presencia del público.

Tál como lo habíamos anunciado, el cartél de cierre rockero fue por parte de la banda Freedom, banda que hace tributos a los grandes clásicos del rock de los años 60 y 70 presentando clásicos de Led Zeppeling, Jefferson Airplane, Georje Harrinson, etc.

Siguieron pasando las horas durante su presentación y tal como pueden ver en los anexos el local estaba lleno brindando servicio desde afuera y varias personas transitando durante la toma cultural en Bello Monte se acercaron para disfrutar de la velada.
