Una vez más después de tanto tiempo nos reunimos en un nuevo compartir musical en esta edición del Hive Open Mic cuya temática hace alución sobre el "futuro" o tema futurista.

Desde primaria los docentes enseñan a sus alumnos sobre el pasado, presente y futuro y en antaño se nos mapeaba en el imaginario colectivo el futuro como una mega ciudad avanzada con automobiles voladores tipo Los Supersónicos y bueno, efectivamente el auge del Internet abrió espacios para avanzar en temas tecnológios para mejoprar tanto la calidad de vida de la población mundial, conversar con otras personas de otros países, conocer sus culturas, tradiciones, facilitar comunicación con familiares que tenemos en otros países, pero a su vez ha traido repercusiones tanto a nivel psicológico, exponer tu seguridad, privacidad, estar al asecho de depredadores, etc.

Megapolis es una melodía que compuse pensando en una ciudad cada vez más tecnológica, "inteligente", pero cuyos excesos de la misma, la extracción desmedida de los recursos naturales limitados que nos proporciona el planeta nos lleva al deterioro de los ecosistemas ambientales, a tal riesgo de extinguir la preciada vida en el planeta tierra y que en este apocalipsis viviríamos una distopía de supervivencia en la que cada vez estamos más cerca de llegar a esa etapa.

Realmente, esta temática en Hive Open Mic me hizo recapitular las enseñanzas que nunca debemos olvidar sobre el adecuado uso de los recursos naturales de la tierra para vivir con armonía en este ecosistema.

Y no, NO ES UNA APOLOGÍA AL ABANDONO DE LA TECNOLOGÍA si no más bien, es saber medir que tanto debemos extraer de la tierra. (además del detrimiento de las relaciones humanas).

Megapolis is a melody I composed with an increasingly technological, “smart” city in mind, but whose excesses, the excessive extraction of the limited natural resources provided by the planet, are leading to the deterioration of environmental ecosystems, to such a risk of extinguishing precious life on planet Earth that in this apocalypse we would live in a dystopia of survival in which we are getting closer and closer to reaching that stage.

In fact, this theme at Hive Open Mic made me recapitulate the lessons we must never forget about the proper use of the earth's natural resources in order to live in harmony with this ecosystem.

And no, IT IS NOT AN APOLOGY FOR ABANDONING TECHNOLOGY, but rather knowing how much we should extract from the earth (in addition to the detriment to human relationships).
