🎶🎤Mi experiencia como ingeniero del Ensamble B11 y Horacio Blanco🎤🎶 [ESP-ENG]

¡Hola! Espero que estén muy bien. Estas últimas semanas han estado llenas de experiencias geniales. Aunque las cosas no piensan bajar el ritmo, quiero retomar el ritmo aquí y compartir todo lo posible en @liketu, ya que se ha convertido en una de mis plataformas favoritas para compartir mis experiencias. 😊🔥

Hoy les traigo una experiencia muy especial de la última semana. Realicé el sonido para el Ensamble B11 en MoDo Caracas, un local bastante reconocido en mi ciudad. Según su propia descripción en sus redes sociales, se denominan como Centro Turístico.

Todo esto se llevó a cabo en el marco del festival "Nocturneando" organizado por la alcaldía de Chacao. Durante este evento, los locales y las calles que conforman el casco de Chacao se llenaron de arte y entretenimiento. Se montaron varias tarimas, y algunos locales prestaron sus espacios para presentaciones musicales, como fue el caso de MoDo Caracas.

El Ensamble B11 fue invitado a presentarse, y ellos me invitaron a mí para ser su ingeniero en esta ocasión. Me encargué del Main (el sonido que escucha el público), mientras que los trabajadores del local se encargaron del monitoreo (el sonido que escuchaban los músicos a través de sus audífonos como referencia).

Como era la primera vez que hacía sonido en este local, la ingeniera del local me sugirió llegar temprano, de manera que tuviera tiempo de organizar todo lo mejor posible y familiarizarme con el lugar y los equipos antes de la prueba de sonido. Así fue, a las 9 AM ya estaba en el lugar. Pude empezar a organizar los canales y dar indicaciones sobre cómo se distribuiría todo en el escenario. A las 10 AM, ya teníamos casi todo montado. Llegaron los músicos, y comenzó la prueba de sonido. 🔊🎶

Algo que no les he contado hasta ahora, y quizás algunos lo hayan notado en la portada, es que Horacio Blanco de la banda Desorden Público iba a ser el artista invitado que tocaría junto al Ensamble B11. Horacio y el Ensamble son muy amigos y tienen una relación que ya tiene varios años. Siempre que pueden colaboran y se apoyan de alguna manera, y esta oportunidad no fue la excepción.

Alrededor de las 11 AM llegó Horacio. Ya teníamos todo preparado para su llegada, así que se incorporó muy rápido a la prueba de sonido. Pude ajustar el sonido según sus indicaciones y mi criterio de lo que consideraba un buen sonido. Cuando ambos estuvimos contentos, tocaron varias canciones junto al Ensamble para verificar que todo estuviera en las mejores condiciones para el show que se daría esa noche.

Luego de la prueba de sonido, Manu (mi socio, mi amigo y mi compañero @manuelmusic) me sugirió tomarme una foto con Horacio, y así fue. Como pueden ver en la publicación, quedaron las pruebas de esa experiencia nueva y exitosa para mí: trabajar por primera vez con Horacio Blanco, que muy amablemente no dudó en tomarse una foto conmigo. 📸🎇

Lamento no haberles traído fotos del show durante la noche, pero fue complicado hacer la mezcla para el público y tomar fotos al mismo tiempo. Era mi turno de trabajar. De todas formas, fue una gran experiencia, y el show estuvo increíble. Fue divertido y, a pesar de los pequeños contratiempos, el show fue un éxito. Quedé satisfecho con el resultado, y el público se expresó de manera similar. La gente bailó, cantó y disfrutó durante la presentación; eso es más que suficiente para considerarlo un éxito, ¡jaja! 🎇🎉🔥

🎶🎤My experience as an engineer for Ensemble B11 and Horacio Blanco🎤🎶

Hello! I hope you are doing well. These past few weeks have been filled with great experiences. Although things don't seem to be slowing down, I want to get back on track here and share as much as possible on @liketu, as it has become one of my favorite platforms to share my experiences. 😊🔥

Today, I bring you a very special experience from the past week. I did the sound engineering for Ensemble B11 at MoDo Caracas, a well-known venue in my city. According to their own description on their social media, they refer to themselves as a Tourist Center.

All of this took place within the framework of the "Nocturneando" festival organized by the Chacao municipality. During this event, local venues and the streets that make up the heart of Chacao were filled with art and entertainment. Several stages were set up, and some venues provided their spaces for musical performances, as was the case with MoDo Caracas.

Ensemble B11 was invited to perform, and they invited me to be their engineer on this occasion. I was in charge of the Main (the sound that the audience hears), while the venue's staff handled the monitoring (the sound that the musicians heard through their headphones as a reference).

Since it was my first time doing sound at this venue, the venue's engineer suggested that I arrive early so that I would have time to organize everything as best as possible and get familiar with the place and equipment before the soundcheck. That's exactly what I did, and by 9 AM, I was already on-site. I started organizing the channels and giving instructions on how everything would be set up on the stage. By 10 AM, we had almost everything set up. The musicians arrived, and the soundcheck began. 🔊🎶

Something I haven't mentioned until now, and perhaps some of you noticed from the cover, is that Horacio Blanco from the band Desorden Público was going to be the guest artist performing alongside Ensemble B11. Horacio and Ensemble B11 are very good friends and have had a longstanding relationship for several years. Whenever they can, they collaborate and support each other in some way, and this opportunity was no exception.

Around 11 AM, Horacio arrived. We had everything ready for his arrival, so he quickly joined the soundcheck. I adjusted the sound according to his instructions and my own judgment of what constituted good sound. When both of us were satisfied, they played several songs together with Ensemble B11 to ensure that everything was in the best possible condition for the show that night.

After the soundcheck, Manu (my partner, my friend, and my colleague @manuelmusic) suggested taking a photo with Horacio, and that's exactly what we did. As you can see in the post, there's evidence of this new and successful experience for me: working with Horacio Blanco for the first time, who kindly didn't hesitate to take a photo with me. 📸🎇

I apologize for not bringing you photos of the show during the night, but it was quite challenging to mix for the audience and take photos at the same time. It was my turn to work. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic experience, and the show was incredible. It was fun, and despite some minor setbacks, the show was a success. I was satisfied with the outcome, and the audience expressed similar sentiments. People danced, sang, and enjoyed the performance; that's more than enough to consider it a success, haha! 🎇🎉🔥
