"Solo", es una canción de la banda de rock venezolana Candy 66, de su álbum POP, del año 2001.
Esta banda apostó por el Metal en un país donde este género musical no se comercializa, y cuesta arriba, con pocas cosas a su favor, lograron surgir y convertirse en la representación de Venezuela ante el mundo entero.
Iniciaron sus pasos en el Festival de Nuevas Bandas, un escenario ícono para el Rock venezolano, en el 2000, y luego de lanzar este álbum un año después, han tejido una trayectoria de más de dos décadas de éxitos.
Solo viene siendo su himno, ya que con ella fue que cerraron su presentación en aquel emblemático Festival, y la que les dio el reconocimiento nacional. No creo que hayan realizado un concierto sin haber tocado esta canción. Personalmente he asistido a muchas de sus presentaciones y es su pieza para el cierre del show, y como dije anteriormente, es el Himno de Candy 66 para el público rockero nacional. En lo particular me gusta mucho tocarla porque representa mi adolescencia, parte de mi rebeldía, y a la vez es el soundtrack de muchas situaciones bonitas que me sucedieron en esos años.

"Alone", is a song by the Venezuelan rock band Candy 66, from their 2001 album POP.
This band opted for Metal in a country where this musical genre is not commercialized, and uphill, with few things in their favor, they managed to emerge and become the representation of Venezuela before the entire world.
They began their steps in the Festival of New Bands, an iconic stage for Venezuelan Rock, in 2000, and after releasing this album a year later, they have woven a trajectory of more than two decades of success.
Alone has been their anthem, since it was with her that they closed their presentation at that emblematic Festival, and the one that gave them national recognition. I don't think they've done a concert without playing this song. Personally I have attended many of their presentations and it is their piece for the closing of the show, and as I said before, it is the Candy 66 Anthem for the national rock audience. In particular, I really like playing it because it represents my adolescence, part of my rebellion, and at the same time it is the soundtrack of many beautiful situations that happened to me in those years.
